Bumping this since I’ve been making progress on a sfw illustration that I’m actually quite proud of but I still feel hesitant sharing, partly that guilt but also feeling like this wouldn’t go over well here? Just the brain goblins talking.

It sucks how "this looks like AI" is becoming the new "I don't like how this looks but I can't come up with a reason to say why." You're allowed to say it looks unappealing, just don't lie about it y'all.

I’ve been dabbling w/ side nsfw oc ideas but I wouldn’t share on this account since I’d like to keep this account sfw and focused on RR. But a part of me is struggling to see it through, part because of guilt not working on RR and another wondering if there is even an audience for this?

I’ve been pretty quiet for a while now with little art really done. I have been making progress on Rhythm Rivals storyboards at least but outside of that not much really. I’m not sure how to get myself motivated about art again. Apologies for the lack of updates everybody.

Metroid AND Kirby!? Yippee! I’m also intrigued by that eternal anima game, looks like it has a similar combat system to child of light which I adored.

#KnoxRobbinsArt Ocarina of Time is back in conversation again, so I spent some time during the Summer drawing out my own stylized interpretation of the Seven Sages. Adding little nods and touches wherever I could. It may not be my most favorite Zelda but it is still a damn good game.

Inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the seven sages of Hyrule join together. Sheik above most of them with their shadow casting on a stone, Saria playing her ocarina for a jovial Darunia, Nabooru playing the flute, Sheik donned with Sheikah robes holding the Lens of Truth, Rauru and Kaepora Gaebora watching from behind and also Princess Ruto is there.

Once I get the storyboards and animatic (maybe?) I want to try again at crowdfunding for Rhythm Rivals. I’ve definitely learned a lot from the last time (which was unsuccessful) and I’m hoping I can get everything lined up perfectly for this attempt.

Am I upset about how Toonboom is integrating AI into their software? And am I learning a whole new software because of it, potentially switching my pilot over to it? Yes. (Giving Moho a whirl)

Hey, just putting it out there: Rhythm Rivals will have ZERO GenAI in it. The writing is 100% by me, my voice talent who have graciously volunteered for the roles are all human beings, as well as the music. And all the visuals from storyboard to compositing will be done by my studio (primarily me)
