iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

That's just my husband, but sleezebag flavored with parental death trauma instead of disappointed/abusive parent trauma. Also, Mahito is just.. several Pillar Men references, it feels like?? But primarily Cars. It's fun being able to see the original influences for a lot of series I already love

I feel like I have a particular privilege of having never seen JJBA before now but having finished JJk and MHA because, oh my god, Sukuna is such a love letter to Dio it's honestly maddening. Also, Baron Zeppili's ripple has to be what inspired Gentle Criminal's quirk. He HAS TO BE.

Maybe I'll just start live-posting my reactions to Jojo to try to get myself to post on here more in general and hopefully post the art I've been creating in secret. Idk- artists friends - is this site still somewhat safe to post on, or do I need to go thru extra hoops to protect my shit now?

Anyway, I love my awkward, anxious man dressed in green, gaslighting everyone about the experience after they were assholes to him ultimately for their own safety. I'm sensing a theme in anime of anxious, awkward green characters, and I'm feeling a little called out. I'm gonna be honest.

Also, can we just talk about how if Death 13 was successful, he would have just been left in the desert to starve? I love the trope of "I'm so much smarter than you," only to be revealed as short-sighted. It wasn't even addressed, but that baby would have just died in the desert if he won.

I'm watching JJBA for the first time with my boyfriend, and we are about to start part 2 of Stardust Crusaders, iirc? I know from the namesake of the show I was in for a wild ride, but an episode dedicated to Duel (1971) by Steven Speilberg wasn't on my bingo sheet. 10/10 no notes. This is so fun.

Tho I sadly didn't attend any panels, I had an amazing time anyway. There were so many incredible cosplays, as well as artists in the exhibitors' hall. I need to be saving up for some post convention purchases. So much talent... Anyway, here's a redraw I did for the con. I need a nap now.

The Portcon Maine mascots; Moxxi, and Mochi portrayed in a panel redraw of Power driving Kobeni's car in the Chainsaw Man Manga to advertise the Isekai theme of the convention for the year.

Side text reads firstly the artists name, "MxEufloria," followed by "Portcon 2026 Isekai."

Had the best birthday ever yesterday while at #portconmaine this past weekend. I had the pleasure of meeting the incredible @sonicmega.bsky.social and able to give him some art I made a while back. Seeing and hearing the joy in his reaction to it feels like it healed something deep inside of me.

Yeah, so anyway, for an art project as a child, I made a "robot" out of an old empty laundry detergent bottle and in h.s a 3 wheeled chopper style bike out of broken headphones. Lack of imagination and lack of funds are 2 different things.

May I use this example in the future? It's so simply yet eloquently said.

Not to ramble needlessly, but every instance I've seen of you ever has brought my life nothing but absolute joy. I hope the trolls back off eventually cuz you're right, people who fantasize about someone being 'canceled' is weird af.

Even if they did "find receipts" with genuine kind people, those small instances of deserved reaction are often long overdue. When you manage to piss off the kind person, that takes skill and stupidity. Sadly, I feel like a lot of these posts are thinly veiled transphobia. I'm sorry punkitt

As a 30 year old that’s what distresses me a lot about seeing how internet spaces have evolved. Those shitty people used to stick to their nasty corners but the muskrat felt the need to use a popular social media outlet to harass people he doesn’t like and spread mass misinformation.

back into the pokemon hyperfixation hardcore since jjk and mha manga basically ended back to back and i haven't gotten far enough into dandadan manga for it to completely sink its claws the way mha did for YEARS. (not a slight at dandadan it's amazing and i know it's only a matter of time)

It's so jarring being able to scroll my feed and see actual posts and art from real people instead of unhinged right wing ad one right after the other. I might actually start posting my own art and cosplays proper here :')

THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING PLEASE STOP BLAMING YOURSELF BABY BOY YOU'RE A VICTIM. (The actual realness of his reactions to all the SA are both great writing but also so painful to read. Idk if this is coming from real life experience but if so I hope Fujimoto is ok, and that this is at least cathartic)

UPDATE: I'm back in Elite, so you can ignore that little 💎 ;)
