Hourly Comic Day 2025. This is hard work, please be encouraging!

A short diary comic detailing what Mike Dawson did around 7AM this morning, which was drink some coffee and look at his phone. It's tedious to explain, but while he deleted his personal Facebook account a long time ago, he manages the FB page for a group he volunteers for at his kid's High School. The group is "friends" with all these people Mike doesn't know from around town, and the feed therefore is populated with all the kinds of real rank nasty stuff that he wouldn't expect anyone he actually knows to be saying. Plus all the A.I. slop, he can feel that the app almost physically hurts him, turning us all into the guy with worms in his head from the low budget horror movie SQUIRM (1976)

Mikes 8AM Hourly Comic Day entry, which entailed walking the dogs to the ATM to take out money. Does he want a receipt showing his balance... uhhh, does he? Sometimes it's nicer not to know. Then he remembers how recently the ATM spit out someone else's balance a couple weeks ago, and they had over a million dollars in their checking account, and that made Mike feel terrible the whole rest of the day.
