Question Question! How long do you wonderful people take to do research or design an outfit? Would you prefer a theme be announced, say, 6 months in advance to give you optimal time to think up an attire? Maybe 4 to build up enough interest. Would love to hear some community feedback

drew my girl for the #FatFurGala! when does it stop being fashionably late and start just being normal late? bc this is probably pushing it haha, but enough about that; look at this hot fat cat girl! #furry #furryart #myart #fatfur #ffg

A tubby blue and white cat/fox furry is standing in front of a simplistic beach, adjusting her sunhat and holding a beverage in an orange glass while smiling at the viewer. She wears a pair of round, reddish-brown sunglasses, a straw sunhat with a pink ribbon and a pink flower on it, a bikini top in the colors of the pan pride flag, a pink skirt thingy tied around her waist, and a mostly hidden black bikini bottom. There are some stretch marks on her exposed belly, and one visible on her thigh.

Bit late for #FatFurGala and Natalya's birthday (Friday) so here's Natalya and myself in beach wear for the FatFurGala.

An anthro, round, fat, Russian blue cat is walking down a beach wearing a green bikini, black beach shirt, beige sunhat, and golden round sunglasses. She is smiling and winking at the viewer.

An anthro, round, fat black cat is wearing a beige panama hat, a white and blue striped shirt, a blue undershirt that is a tad too small, blue swimming trunks, and brown sandals. He is carrying a tropical drink in his left hand and a red inner tube with his right. He is smiling and winking at the viewer.

photo surfaces Days after gala, prompting headlines: "ghosts fat lol" SHOCKING. kyrie (middle) design courtesy of @geniose.bsky.social and @bielbunny.bsky.social ! wanted to do some birds from the system due to the host <: #fatfurgala #ffg replies for contextual stuff i guess lol

three chubby avian anthros with drinks and snacks in light clothing, goofing around.
the leftmost one is a light blue demoiselle crane holding taiyaki and soft serve and wearing a yukata with a snow ring pattern. her long head feathers are tied back with a flower clip and she has a ribbon tied around one leg. her yukata is being pulled open by her tummy surging forward, but the obi is holding fine. her belly is glowing pink, straining against the obi of her outfit, and has stretchmarks forming. she is very sightly translucent. she is beeping and celebrating with a music note next to her.
the bird in the middle is yellow with a white underbelly, with a red-to-purple short feathery hairstyle, and is wearing a sheer croptop, a green, orange, and yellow skirt with a tiny apron for the sake of having pockets, and a similarly colorful pair of flipflops. they have a tray with swiss lemonade and caipifruta on it. they are leaning against the crane and pulling the phoenix over.
the one on the right is a phoenix, as stated, being pulled over, and looking shocked about both that and whatever is going on over there with the ghost crane and the wardrobe malfunction. he has mainly orange feathers, with a white underbelly, blue tail and accents, and shoulder-length yellow head feathers. he's wearing a very light and decorative outfit, the entire thing translucent and sheer, the "trousers" translucent orange fabric looping around each leg and a croptop of orange fabric to match and for modesty, his round belly entirely out. he's wearing a long, translucent orange scarf, and each wing-hand has a series of rings with bronze chains hanging down, holding onto a blue sash decorated with a few multicolored fabric feathers. beads and bronze coins are decorated along the phoenix's wings and tail.

I wanted to participate in this summer's fatfur gala, but life happened and I couldn't finish the two paintings I wanted to make for it, so they were left as sketches I might as well share them anyways, even if a bit late Alt text includes descriptions and context/commentary :3 #FFG #FatfurGala

Nath wearing some sort of swimsuit, although only the top half holding up their breasts. They're also wearing some sort of translucent flowy veil and, of course, a big ass hat with a ribbon on it.

Their gut, arms, thighs and fat pad fully exposed, and they're proud about it.

They're on a beach, originally intended to be caught against a wave splashing onto them, holding a drink on one hand and a purse on the other.

It's rough in terms of proportions, I quite struggled to figure out what to do with their hands in this painting.

This painting would've shown Reimi at a beach bar, pearly white sand on the background while he chills in front of a bar full of snacks and drinks.

He's leaning against a pole, towering up near the ceiling, wearing an open shirt that was meant to have a Hawaiian flowery pattern alongside his usual swimming trunks, very slowly sunglasses, and a tailbag.
He's also wearing a ring that was meant to be colored silver and a silver band on his wrist, very classy.

The dragon looks smug and proud of his size.

This one was discarded due to a lack of time and a bit of a struggle to make Reimi's attire look interesting. Fashion isn't my forte, I wear plain tees all year lmao.

She's laughing and enjoying herself very clearly drunk, while holding a martini above her head. Her other hand is holding onto the bar. There are 4 empty martini glasses on the bar and 2 neon martini glass signs on the wall. The lighting is low and warm pointing down on her.
