Happy holidays from Avalon ❄️ Connor made them dress up.

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

If I had to make you preorder our dark academia series with a single hook, it would be: “The main character serves cunt.” 🫰🏼🫰🏼

✨We listen and don’t judge ✨ When he’s in her empty office and sees her spare cardigan on the back of her chair. And he’s so obsessed with her scent he 💦 on it. Then he panicks and tries to wash it with soap and water. DISH soap. It’s cashmere. ✨ We listen and we dont judge.✨

*me when someone says they hope Hades & Persephone curse me for writing smut about them (actual event)*

Take your meds. Drink water. Read Smut. Fight the patriarchy.

Nothing is funnier to me that despite the heavy altering we did to the Greek Gods family tree, the one people always get upset about is that… We made Hades the middle brother. 🧍🏼‍♂️ He gives middle brother energy. Always in the middle of Z and Poseidon. I can’t explain it.

I dog ear pages. And I’m not ashamed of it.

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

My favorite microtrope is when he kills her past abusers in a truly unhinged way and never tells her.

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

I can’t. So we live in the same neighborhood as a famous criminal defense attorney - think menedez, Petersen, Jackson, etc.- and I just saw him walking his dogs with a sweatshirt that said REASONABLE DOUBT across it in the Law & Order font. 💀

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

If you think I’m not going to make you fall in love with an unknown character who only appears as a wind avatar for most of Avalon, you’re wrong.

000

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Listen, I will eat up “he is so obsessed with her that he hates her” trope all the time. 24/8. But i will go to my grave with the belief that it does not qualify as the sole basis of enemies to lovers.

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Alright, how we feeling about this app 🧐

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Fated mates 🤝 Enemies to Lovers

020

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

I really want to be on this app more but the interface gives too much like Twitter and i left that dark place years ago 😭

010

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

Hades baby batter 🤝🏼 The pomegranate seed

*me promoting my book to romantasy readers*

050

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 28/11/2024

What’s crazy is this has actually happened to me before 😭

000

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 28/11/2024

I hope everyone has a good “had to scroll through several pages of a personal life story and where they were on 9/11 to get to this recipe” day tomorrow.

They’re just 🫰🏼 unhinged

010

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 28/11/2024

Do people really not know that Wicked Part 2 is The Wizard of Oz from Elphaba’s POV? 🧍🏼‍♂️

030

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 28/11/2024

Also if you really loved Jinx in Arcane, go read the nightmare and the daydream.

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 27/11/2024

I’m here to make Zuck nervous about this app.

050

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 27/11/2024

And if you love Lore Olympus but wish it was unhinged and spicy, go read the maiden and the unseen. In hindsight, it’s nothing like lore Olympus.

Jeanette Rose @fatedloves.bsky.social · 27/11/2024

Listen if you liked Zodiac Academy but with like more Crescent City vibes but put them in university, or you really liked the magicians but wanted a happy ending for SOMEONE. Preorder Blood & Betrayals. I don’t make the rules.

🫰🏼🫰🏼 that’s what I’m here for

It’s alright to decompress. Even for all the gifted burnout eldest daughters who feel like they’re failing someone if they’re not being productive.

When our dark academia has students in their late 20s and early 30s because we can’t leave saving the world to the YOUTHS. The CHILDREN. Also, because we felt like it.

I love writing hard magic systems, especially based on languages. For example, every species can LEARN every casting language but not every species can USE every single one. There are two exceptions: Fae and Sorcerors. These two can use any and all.

Summer gets turned on by smart people. Connor is an honor student and student body president. The stranger is…well the Stranger.

Let’s see how these do on here 🤔 who likes a trope arrow post for our dark academia series?

You have to switch your settings on desktop!

The most annoying thing about when you have signed copies is the debate over whether you put a thing saying they’re hand-stamped by the Author, because otherwise people will be ableist about it like you’re trying to deceive them by making sure your author’s hands don’t give out. 🧍🏼‍♂️
