Not sure what your usual methods are, but when I'm trying to get mine going again I give it large feedings twice a day and stir frequently. Usually gets it going pretty quick if I'm reviving, but if you're starting from scratch it can take over a week. Good luck with your starter!

I genuinely laughed at that last line. That said, if you haven't tried it, rubbing alcohol (90%) usually works a treat when you need to scrub a fragrance fast

The aesthetic is very "remnants of a bygone era" and it's present even in the character portraits, maybe that's what they mean? Because the art is absolutely top notch, so that can't be it

I find I tend towards darker fragrances but it's hard to find a nice balance. Dark fragrances seem to be either "kinda sorta just a little dark" or "light has forsaken this place".

Serge Lutens Ecrin Fumee perfume is baffling. One of the few fragrances where the difference between smelling close to the skin and smelling from a distance changes the perceived notes dramatically. And on a piece of paper (to test) it just smelled like powdered chocolate. Baffling.

At one point I bothered to learn Spider Solitaire and then ended up playing it for like a month straight. Strangely cathartic

Some perfumes come with really gaudy bottles, but as long as the fragrance isn't that expensive, I actually think it's kind of fun. It doesn't look good, but the overly ostentatious presentation is amusing. (Example attached) What do you think?

I pulled the trigger on trying Lost In Time by Clandestine Laboratories. After having sampled 15 of Mark's fragrances I'm confident that I'll find something to like. The scent is experimental, and is supposed to smell like a tobacco curing shed in various stages of curing. Color me intrigued
