there are many much more pressing reasons to want people to stop pressuring people who don't want kids into having kids. but can we add "it sucks to live in a world where it's illegal to just go live in the forest because if everyone who wanted to actually did that the forest would be destroyed"?

A perpetual elephant in the room may need to be eventually acknowledged for long term social progress. Not the most pressing matter. It's not outright terrorism. But its continued refusal to be addressed prevents a deep bigotry from resolving, and allows bad people to keep taking advantage.

i love and grew up with the elder scrolls series, but the only way i wouldn't be disappointed and disinterested if TES:6 were the *third human-centric game in a row* in a high fantasy setting is if it were bc they finally decided to do something with the reachfolk besides cheap every-villain fodder.

Agree with the claimed ideal of veganism, but like every vegan or / org I've seen comes off like they're to animal welfare what MAGA is to Christianity and that makes the end goal seem hopelessly unattainable. Is there a different movement with the same motive but that actually takes it seriously?

Sometimes I wonder if part of the Karen epidemic is cuz not enough people have been telling their kids that generally when a food joint with no crowd takes long on an order, it's because a batch ran out so they have to cook up a new one Wouldn't even selfish people want extra fresh, toasty food?

Seattle is the only place I've ever lived in that expends the effort to program a 'find it fix it' type app and then render it useless by making every category lead to a page telling you not to report problems of that category under that category, or to the app at all. Do other cities do this?

I sleep in dirt. Well-draining dirt. Some good perlite in there, a little bark. Be nice if it were atleast for some sort of well-intentioned purpose, but no. It's because for some inexplicable reason I always feel the urge to use my bed as a surface when repotting plants instead of a fucking table??
