I never liked American football. Apart from having very little to do with feet on a ball, coming from Brooklyn, NY as I do, if I want to watch a street fight, I know which streets to go to. None of them wear helmets.

Just got glasses with a prism-lens for my lazy eye... Traffic lights are no longer double, but the red light is off to the left of the actual lamp and the green is off to the right (why do they call it green? It's teal at best). And the lights seem to be a cubit or so in front of the lamp... cool!

I just looked up the house I grew up in on Zillow. My grandparents paid $13,500 for it in 1959. It's not for sale now, but if it were, it would bring in over $6,000,000! An average price for a smallish house in what was once a working-class neighborhood. My old haunts are truly gone...

Well, this is distressing. This year I planted a really nice garden. TONS of flowers, loads of veggies. In the past week, I have seen exactly TWO bees. One honeybee, one of the little black native bees that sting like Godzilla. There should be dozens of honeybees, at least, but no... nobody home
