Proud of myself today! I’ve been working on a horse game for adults, on and off, for almost a decade. Now I’m retired I can really get into it. Got the first draft of the intro video done at long last! What think you?

Just got glasses with a prism-lens for my lazy eye... Traffic lights are no longer double, but the red light is off to the left of the actual lamp and the green is off to the right (why do they call it green? It's teal at best). And the lights seem to be a cubit or so in front of the lamp... cool!

I just looked up the house I grew up in on Zillow. My grandparents paid $13,500 for it in 1959. It's not for sale now, but if it were, it would bring in over $6,000,000! An average price for a smallish house in what was once a working-class neighborhood. My old haunts are truly gone...

Well, this is distressing. This year I planted a really nice garden. TONS of flowers, loads of veggies. In the past week, I have seen exactly TWO bees. One honeybee, one of the little black native bees that sting like Godzilla. There should be dozens of honeybees, at least, but no... nobody home

Hubby and I have been rewatching Babylon 5. Finding it not as enjoyable as it was originally, not because the story hasn't aged well, but because it's aged way TOO well.

Today is Memorial Day in the United States, when we grieve and pay tribute to the soldiers who fought and died for our country. Today I think it also appropriate that we grieve and pay tribute to the country itself. I wonder if its like will ever be seen again.

I was just looking at the list of "American Heroes" that are supposed to be in Comrade Krasnov's new... whatever it is. Under "Journalists" there were only two names. One of them was Alex Trebek (WTF?!) and NEITHER of them was Walter Cronkite! Really? I mean, REALLY? Get a grip, people...

One of the characters from my new story. Lousy background but I'm happy with the rest. Character is completely posable.

Story I'm working on is moving forward apace. I'm using Blender to create posable characters so I don't have to keep drawing the same people over and over. Lots of fun!

I'm finally at work on another long story. Fantasy this time. I usually write science fiction, but so much of the science I was trained in back in the day has gotten far ahead of me now. But at least this gives me a very good reason to do some really creative stuff in Blender.

Things are about to get ugly in a whole new (old) way. The snowpack that feeds the Colorado River, upon which several states and Mexico rely for water and are already fighting for, is at half what it should be. There's been no winter here.
