We had a fab workshop at @icecon.bsky.social with @fannargg.bsky.social on illustrating a graphic novel, so much goes into it that goes under the reader's radar but makes it all work, fascinating! Then to my delight @alexanderdan.bsky.social had read you as well, I love to find a fellow fan! 😍 #ROTE

Better late than never:Sat panels from @icecon.bsky.social! @ellafraenka.bsky.social & @edashtonwriting.bsky.social on Mickey 7 etc, @alexanderdan.bsky.social, @emilhpetersen.bsky.social & @villimeymist.bsky.social on self publ, translation panel, & Gunnar & Fannar on their graphic novel! #BookSky 🇮🇸

Villimey Mist (pro), Emil Hjörvar (neutral, has published both ways and finds each to have their own advantages and freedoms) & Alexander Dan (hates it but did it!) discussing self publishing with Ella

Véronique Favéro and Rúnar Helgi Vignisson discussing translating from English to French, and from English to Icelandic, the time it takes to find the 'voice' of the original author, and the difficulties at times of finding words and phrases that work in the end language

Gunnar Gunnarsson, Atla Hrafney and Fannar Gilberts discussing their collaboration in producing the graphic novel Huldufólk (ElvePeople in English) which is a play on words, and not about the hidden people!

One of the coolest things i’ve gotten to be a part of was in comicon in Iceland. My publisher had a whole wall decorated with a page of my newly published graphic novel and i got to sit behind it and sign copies of my comic to people 🤯🤯 #myndasogur #iceland #comicart #comicartist #comicbookart

Work-in progress of an indie comic, is there anyone out there that loves drawing backgrounds and cars? 😅 personally it kills me while i draw it, but the end result is always satisfying. To see a world that you yourself created seems so crazy to me, like a different reality just existing lol 😂

Clip studio pro with ipad, it has helped me publish a graphic novel, 2 kids comics and a colouring book lol 🤣 though i’ve been really interested in procreate and i am currently dedicating a comic project right now on that program to see how well it performs, and so far so good 🤓

Here is one that is heavily underrated and even bankrupted the studio that created this masterpiece is the anime movie Redline, it’s always one of the first ones I recommend after the big three which are akira, ghost in the shell and ninja scroll lol 🤣 i promise it is worth the watch😉
