Played in 10 fantasy football leagues, 2 guillotine, 1 dynasty, 7 redraft of various sorts. Still in both guillotine leagues, missed playoffs in 2 regulars, and made playoffs in 6. Playoff team Seeds: 5, 4, 2, 5, 1, 5... not bad.

In a way, you just have to ride it out! That's the stage I'm at. Still tweaking rosters a bit, will go after guys ranked way higher than current roster but gets tricky.

Once you're to now in the season (week 14 currently) it becomes as much start/sit decisions as anything else. Everybody's roster is good. Anybody that you pick up at this point is going to make a marginal difference in average score.

Once half the teams are gone and budgets are depleted, it's really about value and figuring out what people will spend. Most of the teams left in this range will not blow massive amounts. I missed this nuance this year and massively overbid a few times.

In the early stages people blow their whole budget, especially if they drafted poorly. If you drafted strong, have to resist the urge to roll with them. Hold back, look for values.

If you're not familiar with the format, lowest scoring team is cut every week and the players from their roster go to FA. Everybody starts with 1,000 FAAB.
