Asian dudes rapping: Corny cultural appropriation. Asian women rapping; fun and interesting cultural appropriation. This is probably a very bad take but I’ll stand by it youtu.be/o7utjVNNNcI?...

Has anyone else thought the word “ambivalent” had a different meaning than what the dictionary says for their entire life?

Definition
: having or showing simultaneous and contradictory attitudes or feelings toward something or someone: characterized by ambivalence

I really like the gyms I've been going to, but the fact that they don't open until 9 am on the weekends is fucking stupid. Thanks for reading.

My favorite part is that the front of house manager isn’t opposed to doing drugs she just needs to wait until the sun goes down

@bernielomax.extranapkins.net @ianferguson.bsky.social Look, I'm annoying myself for suggesting two things for your podcast in one week, but this movie reminded me so much of the one we talked about a few months ago that I think you also need to talk about it letterboxd.com/film/the-wro...

Managed to stay off line and not have the game spoiled when I woke up. That was intense. Not sure when I'll get to watch another game. GO BILLS!

Chris @famouschrisdavis.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

It's 11 pm on Sunday. The Bills game starts at 1 am on Monday. I don't have work on Monday (Happy Teacher's Day!), but watching the game would entail staying up until at least 4 am on Monday, which would ultimately hinder my need to get up at 5 am on Tuesday. So I'll watch it when I get up.

I’m 365 pages in Volume One of Lady Joker. Both volumes are around 500 pages each. It’s really good but holy shit is it overwhelming. It’s like if all five seasons of The Wire were one continuous story (and set in 1994 Tokyo) it’s so in depth. Anyone want to book club with me?

Five months in I’m down 68lbs (seems like a lot but I gotten really big before I started). Honestly, not sure how far I want to go but I like the simplicity of not thinking about food and it’s nice wearing clothes that aren’t giant.
