When you delete an image thinking you don't want it anymore; besides, it's on the internet. Never to be seen again. Were sets of Plague Doctor stickers for LINE or the like. Like one by lycopen but a bit more detailed. Had some in different costumes too. "Upgraded" search engines don't help.

Another scribble I never touched up. Struggles of .. whatever this is called.

Four panel comic.

A person peeks open the door from their room, sees no one.

A sparkly twirl as they exit. FREEDOM

The front door clicks, the person still as a statue mid twirl. FREEDOM STOPS

The person is crouched down behind the safety of their closed room door, dejected. "Guess not.."

Forgot about these scribbles. I have a couple of notes for LotR x The Matrix ones too. Monty Python and the Holy Grail x The Lord of the Rings The Bridge Scene

A six panel comic:

An elderly man holds up his hand for someone to stop,
"WHAT is your name?"

King Arthur responds,
"It is Arthur, King of the Britons."

A close up of the elderly man's face,
"WHAT is your quest?"

A wider shot of the pair at either end of a very old rope bridge,
"To seek the Holy Grail!"

The elderly man blocking the far side of the bridge asks his final question, looking more like an elderly Bilbo Baggins, reaching into his vest pocket.
"...WHAT... Have I got in my pocket?"

King Arthur stares onward, speechless and upset with this line of questioning.

Deadlock - The King's Pasta I couldn't stop seeing the braziers on the Guardian's heads as colanders. I think you could use the Walkers as stoves too if they hold their discs up.

Draft of the main image. Rough shapes of colour to get a feel for sizes and positioning.

Characters from Deadlock.
The Hidden King is happily pouring cooked pasta into the head of a Guardian. Their heads are braziers with holes like a colander.
The ArchMother is in the background getting upset.

Thank you to Lucien @mynqzo.bsky.social for their lovely work on this piece. The lines and creases are mesmerising.

Art by Lucien @mynqzo

Black robed figure in a bird-like mask, exploring a moonlit forest with a lantern staff. Deep shadows on knots in the trees and lines accentuating their details. The robe too has a lot of detail on the folds. The lantern offers a soft glow, a similar colour to the light of the moon highlighting some branches and the figure's head and shoulders.

This one is a little more.. structured than my normal scribbles. Whenever I think of friends and connections this comes to mind as well. It is natural for connections to wander or fray, but it can be sad too. Regardless, I will remember as long as I can.

A series of large standing mirrors in the dark, arrayed akin to a graveyard.

The frames of the mirrors are styled and decorated differently for each person they represent a connection to. Some of the mirrors are in different states of repair; glass frosting, silver flaking, some cracked.

"How easy it is to remember friendships rather than continue them"

So, a while ago, one Mr. Bomberguy released a video about plagiarism. I feel a lot of the points made relate similarly to automated writing and summaries even sans the human theft; including advertising as being authorities on the subj- Oh. He does bring it up a bit at the end. Well. Carry on then.

Weh. A few recent .. scribbles. Things.

Seto Kaiba and his Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, all with blep tongues, behind him. Very simplified style, the dragons are little more than blobs on thick sticks with ears, eyes and tongue.

A colourful little t-rex (NavyBoop) and a crow sitting/loafing next to each other, casually observing.

Was originally a screenshot taken from an event in VRC, watching friends karaoke.

A bee that is also a grocer. A grocer-bee with groceries. They are carrying a paper bag of vegetables. They are quite happy~

Magical item idea: The Fabulous

A garishly colourful and nonsensical assortment of fabrics and threads,
Folding in upon itself to form different clothing.
Regardless of appearance the word 'fabulous' comes to mind when trying to form an opinion.

-transforms into a random article of clothing When picked up.
-With Focus the wearer might be able to narrow down styles, materials,
aspects, or particular garments; but it will never be perfect.

The main drawing is of a hat, made of several different colourful fabrics, what looks like part of a scarf, and part of a collared shirt.

Over a year ago I asked @serenaverdeart.bsky.social to put together a book design for when I was reading for story time. I then tried to combine it with the portraits she had done of my RP characters over the years as some extra expression of thanks. Tyvon is closest to me, ever present decades on.

Art by Serena Verde

An open book. The corners of the pages decorated with leaves and crescent moons.

The left page a portrait of Tyvon, looking away, hand resting on the pommel of the sword on his hip. White haired, solemn, with a hint of Elvish pointed-ness to his ears. Leather armour protects the bulk of his torso, and there are several pouches around his waist.

The right page, an excerpt of Tyvon's thoughts:

"At some point I must wonder whether my nature to keep my distance is akin to insanity, or an irrational fear.

Over the years I have denied myself friends, family; allies, companions. Chances at peace or to make life easier on myself.
There was however always solace to be found in the woods, in Faizel forever by my side, and the moons in the night sky.

I should wonder whether the shadows I chase are also a form of self.. sabotage. The connection I feel just a different madness.
There are few more in tune with the land than a dryad, is it my place to be among even the trees when shunned by one so entwined?

Had I tried for a different life I would have always felt I do not belong; as the trappings of obligations begin to appear, the discomfort sets in. The scars that forest holds are deep and well justified. With more answers the truth of the shadows will become clearer. I can only hope what I see to be the better path is not false.

For now if I can stay, even for a little while, even at a distance, I cannot deny the comfort of home."

My head is full of cobwebs, But I'm the spider, spinning. TWISTING TURNING Tipping, the sands of the hourglass Forever through my mind. This is a poem and art idea I have had for sometime, though rarely shared. Part of me would like it to work as a tattoo even though I am not the type.

Basic idea scribbles of an hourglass, broken at top and bottom, tipping sand through a similarly cracked skull. The sand exits at the bottom of the image and returns to the top. Both are suspended by cobwebs, with a spider orchestrating the whole idea.

The words of the associated poem are staggered down the image.

So, I saw a meme the other day about the only way to destroy the frozen turkey is to take it to Mount Doom. Thanksgiving doesn't exist in New Zealand. Brain decided to go on a tangent anyway. Also Sauron probably wields the frozen turkey in place of his mace or flail.

"Well uh... a very merry birthday to me,"
(He said my name!)
"and a very less merry un-birthday to all of you.."
(He said it twice!)
(Shut it, Merry!)
".. and I guess it's about that time, eh?"
*nervous coughs*
"So.. Goodnight!"

"Bilbo, I thought we were supposed to be having that turkey for your hundred and eleventy-first.."
"..You forgot to defrost it didn't you, Bilbo?"
"What, turkey? No, no, you must have missed it, it's definitely out there. Anyway, I was about to go for a walk, I'll catch you next time, eh?"
"BILBO BAGGINS"

"Put it in the fire Frodo.. now hold out your hand. Don't worry, it's very cool."
"It's still frozen!"
"Indeed.. There's a gathering later we could use the turkey for. I must leave to find how long it takes to cook, until then keep it cool. Tell no one."

*Meeting Strider*
"That is a rare bird."

"Once again we have convened here and the turkey is still frozen.. It must be taken to the fires of Mount Doom."
"Gondor could cook the turkey!"
"Gondor could not cook the turkey had we even twice the time."
"Ach, what're we waiting around for, if we just want to cook the thing faster!"
*Gimli's axe shatters on the frozen turkey*

"They mean to take the frozen turkey to Mount Doom.."
..They deigned not to invite me, so I shall claim it and have my own party, with orcs, in Isengard!"

"I have seens him while master isn't looking. Soon he will try to takes it from master. He wants it. For his stew."
*abject horror*

"Once Sam and Frodo cast the turkey into the fire, all of Mordor will want that bird. We fight! FOR THE TURKEY"

*The Eye of Sauron turns to Mount Doom*
"DID YOU IDIOTS REALLY JUST THROW A FROZEN TURKEY INTO A POT OF BOILING HOT OI-"
*Mordor explodes*
*Ambulance and Firefighter Eagles show up on scene*

Handsome portrait/token art of my current D&D character, Silas Inktalon, artistry by @jaws-stone.bsky.social Much more life and colour than I tend to bring to creations, it is a refreshing difference. Probably a younger Silas, filled with egotistical ideas of combat magic being for wizard-jocks.

An owlin looking up from reading, over some rose-tinted reading glasses. Feathers are brown and tan, and his dark blue robes are adorned with a bronze brooch of an open tome. "How can I assist you?"

Also a silly scribble from last year while watching Star Trek Voyager.

Hastily and inaccurately scribbled depiction of the USS Voyager travelling in space, a picture of Robert Picardo, the actor of the holographic doctor, pasted on the side. The name on the side of the ship written as Voyager de la Doctor. A tiny Tom Paris has been ejected from the airlock.
Text at the bottom of the image reads 'Starring The Doctor (as everyone important)' and is flanked by two penguins playing trumpets to represent the opening theme of Star Trek.

Made these in #SuchArt some time ago. There was an extra layer of nerve-wracking while painting compared to a regular program.. perhaps a little similar to if I was trying to paint in person rather than use pen or pencil. Did encourage me to do these though so that's fun. Still weird no VR version.

I do not know that I would actually request a tool for bullet casings, but one at a time did sometimes seem quite silly sometimes. Never used the broom for much, easier to just put things in a bucket or container rather than shift them around on the floor. #VisceraCleanupDetail

Blueprint coloured image divided into two parts.

On the left, a variety of hand-held vacuum cleaners for sucking up bullet casings, one attempting to inhale a body part and spreading blood, a bullet casing being thrown into a bucket, a broom and dustpan.

On the right gloved hands attempt to pick up more than one bullet casing at a time, always losing grip of the other casings. Finally has an idea to use an electromagnet, however the casings are brass and therefore not magnetic.

It's often hard for me to do art of what's just in my head. Sometimes I can get a clearer concept or if I have somewhere to start from I might be able to manage, but it regularly feels like trying to turn gears that have rusted and seized, and the cobwebs that have grown over will tear at the walls.
