I finally decided to bang this (short) chapter out, the first half had been sitting on my HD for possibly a year. I've been stepping away from a lot of social media, but I DO still exist! archiveofourown.org/works/833732...

Kinda wanna write a story where Reno is constantly over at Rude's place sleeping in his bed or on his shoulder and watching fights with him and sitting on the same side of the booth on their many dinner outings and the whole time Rude is like "No we're just good friends all friends are like this."

Getting back to drawing with my favourite idiots. Thank you for the request <3 #ShinraFuckers #RenoOfTheTurks #RudeOfTheTurks

A black and white artwork of Reno and Rude from FF7. Reno is wearing Rude's sunglasses as well as his goggles, and is pulling on his jacket. Rude looks irritated in the background.

Rude: ... you look like an idiot.
Reno: I look *great* and you know it.

Suddenly remembered how formative these two were my youth. Might have to get back into the femslash ... Artemis love triangles are always fun. 😏

Weird little snippet that came to me (of all things) while watching mortal kombat. It must be gift, Reno thinks, to know that you are going to die. To see it, and greet it. To have it approach you as a friend, and not a stranger.

Said I'd been working on next chapter of Memories (finally!) so here's a snip (engagement makes me want to write, it is what it is)

Rude pulls out his phone to show you a picture and has to swipe through dozens of Reno's nudes before he gets to the cat he saw yesterday. "... Were ALL the earlier pictures ... from today?" Rude's phone vibrates. He's just received an artfully cropped image of Reno's junk.

Suddenly struck by the idea of Reno giving Aerith her first cigarette. Them sitting in the rafters of the S5 Church blowing smoke rings. Reno leaving his cigarette butts when he stalks he so that she knows he was there.

Being a millennial means spending minutes picking the perfect gif to respond to your friends instead of just typing out three words.

I understand that the appeal of Rude for a lot of y'all is Is that he's all big and manly or whatever but what if he had a forced feminization kink and every morning Reno laid out matching lacy bras and panties for him and watched him put them on before he put on his suit?

J [Fandom Granny] @fallen-arazil.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

Picture: Reno being tortured for information, and they tell him they're going to start breaking his fingers, but "Don't worry, we're not monsters ... we'll start with the left." And rather than just saying "I'm left-handed, dumbass," Reno goads them until they start with the right after all,

(scene from a cult AU) The body is quickly engulfed by the mako font. Somewhere, far back in the crowd, a woman sobs, but quickly stifles the sound as the body vanishes into the stream. "The lifestream flows," the priest intones. "He lives." "He lives," the crowd echoes, an eerie monotone.

I just really want a story where Reno has a totally normal childhood with regular doing their best parents who are still alive and yet he somehow still turns out to be an amoral psychopath does that make me a bad person?

I love the idea of, early in their partnership, Reno and Rude accidentally sabotaging each other because they a) they don't fully know each other's capabilities and b) because they /care/.

Had an idea to write a dialogue-only fic of phone calls between Rd and Rn during the off screen portions of the game. Probably call it 'Wiretaps'. Not sure if it would get any readers tho. 🤔

How cool would it have been if, the first time Cloud tells the Nibelheim story in Kalm, Tifa just ... blew up at him. Like: "Who told you this?" "/Told me/? I was /there/." "NO, you weren't THERE. You NEVER came back. I NEEDED you and YOU. WEREN'T. THERE. So /who told you/?"

130

J [Fandom Granny] @fallen-arazil.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

I am overcome by the need to write a super dark Tifa that goes full psycho after Nibelheim but I worry it would just come off as super OOC ...

Non-Turks things I'm interested to see in Revelations: - Lucrecia - Everything to do with Cid/Rocket Town - Zack/timeline stuff (I'm not a huge fan of this in general, but I'm interested in how it ties into the ending) -LET US BREED CHOCOBOS

Let's think some fun Turks thoughts. What's Rude's least favorite/most hated nickname/pet name Reno has for him? What habit of Rude's does Reno find the most annoying? (You can ask other questions if you want 😁)

Sometimes I think it would be nice to be a narcissist and assume I'm perfect and everyone else is the problem, instead of my usual response which is generally "What is wrong with me?" 😭

Cloud is going to yeet that fat-ass fish back into the ocean so fucking hard. #mermay #cloudroche

Cloud is sitting on the wing of the Tiny Bronco, fishing in the ocean using a chocobo lure. Mer!Roche, a flying fish merman emerges from the waves, the string from the fishing rod wrapped tightly around his hand. He grabs Cloud's pant leg any loudly yells "MY FRIEND!!!". Cloud stares at him in shock, his mouth agape.

Suddenly I just really want Reno sitting cradled in Rude's lap, chest to chest, Rude's arms around his back, not kissing but mouths just inches apart. Possibly while Reno is choking him. Look I'm complicated.

So what do you think would have happened if the Turks had found Zack and Cloud--or just Cloud--instead of the military, at the end of Crisis Core? 🤔 It seems unlikely, due to Cissnei and Tseng, they would have brought him in to Hojo. So then ... what?

Alright I tried! Tiger Rufus and Corvid Tseng from @fallen-arazil.bsky.social fic: archiveofourown.org/works/84628231 (an FF7 version of Beauty and the Beast featuring Reno/Rude) I'm no Don Bluth that's for sure 😅 but it was fun! Thank you for the request!

Rufus as a white tiger stalks forward, inviting Reno (not pictured) to follow him. Tseng as a raven sits on his back, looking ominous.

Since writing that Beauty and the Beast crack I've been consumed by an idea for a Cinderella!Cloud AU, but the clearest idea I have is Rude and Reno are the stepbrothers (and are also stepbrothers to each other) and the entire things is just a bunch of stepsibling porn tropes.

I suddenly had the thought that if Reno really was from the slums, he was a PICK ME. Seriously, if Reno was a poor kid from the slums, then he embraced corporate/wealth dominance and oppression and immersed himself in it. He's a /sell-out/ and that's probably how the ppl he knew b4 would see him.

J [Fandom Granny] @fallen-arazil.bsky.social · 20/05/2026

If cozy games exist in FF7 I feel like Reno secretly has a Moogle Island game he's been playing for ten generations of moogles and 80% of them are named after Rude--mostly the girls. He only maintains genetic diversity by occasionally swapping islanders with Elena.

So aside from who you like as a character, who's your favorite character to control in battles in FF7R, just for mechanics? I LOVE Tifa, she's fast, she builds ATB super quick while pummeling, her unique ability(s) are killer (although I wish she had some more AOE stuff) and for me, she's just FUN.
