Vlot ritje vanmorgend. Tijdsduur is ongeveer hetzelfde als naar Edegem, maar lekker vlot en rechtdoor. Geen scenic route-achtige toestanden. Enige nadeel vandaag: geen internet op kantoor dus iedereen met hotspot. 😆

Laatste werkdag in het 19de eeuwse militaire fort (V) in Edegem. Vanaf morgen trekken we met #robonext naar de AED Studios in Lint. Van een militair bastion naar tv/film studios... van de ene coole plek naar de andere. 😊

Dammit... cut myself on the sharp knife while putting my plate in the dishwasher. Before that, one of the cats caught a tiny mouse and the thing was still alive when I told him off. It looked so small in my gloved hand, my heart broke (I'm so sorry little mouse). 😔 So, what's the 3rd going to be?

Outside tropical temperatures, nearing 30°C. Inside, in the office, 22°C and I'm cold even though I'm wearing long trousers and a hoodie, and socks. Decided to go home. I'd rather be too hot than cold sitting behind my desk. Also, I'm annoyed... for not particular reason really.

Van die schrijvers/tekenaars ken ik er niet veel, maar van de acteurs kon ik er toch een 4-tal plaatsen. Wij gingen voor handtekening van en foto met Doug Jones (Saru in Star Trek Discovery) en Eric Winter (Tim Bradford in The Rookie). En het was de max.

Genoten dankzij een fantastische Doug Jones en Eric Winter. Maar ook, er was veel ruimte en het lawaai viel al bij al nog mee. Af en toe moest ik mijn Loops uitdoen, hoewel ik wel een normale conversatie kan voeren met ze in. Ik droeg ook een pet tegen het felle licht. Hielp ook.

Vandaag wordt mijn AuDHD brein nog eens zwaar op de proef gesteld. We gaan naar #FactsConvention2026. Vooral de autistische kant krijgt het dan flink te verduren. Heb mijn Loop earplugs mee, fidgetspinner en -toys ook. Mijn dopamine meds. Prikkelarm moet ik vandaag niet op rekenen, helaas.

ADHD meltdown of the day Couldn't find my life jacket to go canoeing today. Thought I'd dropped it near where I left my wetsuit. I didn't so I thought I lost it. I put it in my wardrobe for safe keeping. When I found it I even remembered the words saying exactly that. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Woensdagavond is open kayak training voor volwassenen -> lees: peddel op en neer op het kanaal van Leuven naar eigen goesting in boot naar keuze. Detail: vrijdagavond zeer onzacht tegen een rots geknald met knieschijf wegens misstap op de steiger. Blauw, groen, geschaafd en onbruikbaar.

The Ancients podcast talking about how the Romans changed the calendar. They tossed out the moon and created a calendar completely out of whack with the seasons. 46BC apparently had 456 days because the calendar was just completely off. At some point July started in early Spring. 🤣🤣
