It may be, depending on what voters expected from the change. My point is not that continuity is good or bad, but that changing the government does not necessarily mean a major change in policy.

Very likely. The more interesting question is what kind of compromise that deal produces? and which policies actually change? Forming a government is one thing, and changing direction is another.

Sweden Changes Government, But How Much? Sweden’s right-wing government lost by three seats, but the opposition remains divided. The Sweden Democrats lost support, yet policies they shaped may remain. A new government may not mean a policy shift. #Sweden #Europe f.falahmousa.com/Sweden

Right Loses in Sweden: Sweden’s right-wing bloc lost the election, taking 173 seats against the opposition’s 176. Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson is resigning. This is not a clear mandate for the left. The opposition parties disagree on several policies, and strict migration rules may remain. #Europe

Conferences should move beyond general debates about whether AI is good or bad. Writers need practical sessions on contracts, copyright, false accusations of AI use, and what to do when their work is used without permission. These are the questions writers need answered.

You bought the ebook. Why can’t you keep the file? Some ebooks work only in approved apps or devices. Paying readers deserve a copy they can keep and read without the seller’s service. Any limits should be clear before payment. This honesty should be standard everywhere. #Books #WSocialBooks

Oil Prices Dominate G20: At the G20 Energy Ministerial in Houston, Sep. 14–16, Brent near $110 and $1m a day tankers expose the limits of the response. Reserves may ease prices, but can’t repair pipelines or secure Hormuz. Repealing US climate rules increases the risk. #Europe f.falahmousa.com/G20

Did a film producer contact you? Scammers are sending writers fake offers to turn their books into films. They begin with praise, then ask the writer to pay for services. A real producer should pay for your rights, not charge you. Verify the company independently before replying. #Books

Lower fees created jobs Albania, Montenegro and North Macedonia joined SEPA, Europe’s system for cheaper euro transfers. Albanian says it saves €2,500 a month and hired more staff. This is European integration with a clear result: lower costs and new jobs. #Balkans #Europe f.falahmousa.com/SEPA
For Alketa Noni low-cost euro transfers for cross-border payments save her time and money she can spend expanding operations, investing, and hiring new staff.

Thanks, Tomasz—that makes your point clearer. A writer working alone cannot match a large company’s legal budget. Governments should take responsibility for enforcement. Otherwise, authors may have rights on paper that they cannot afford to defend.

Exactly, Billie. A street can look lovely in a photograph and still be difficult to use with a wheelchair or walking stick. The real test is whether people can get there, sit comfortably and enjoy some company without having to buy anything.

Victoria, writing a book should not mean spending years defending your rights to it. If a notice says there is no dispute, authors should be able to trust it.

An updated edition could follow one coastal town through four years of tourism growth: wages, rents and public access to the shore. Visitors are counted carefully. The changes in residents’ lives deserve the same attention.

Paying shepherds to manage grazing makes sense: goats can eat the scrub that feeds fires. But funding should reward reduced fire risk, not just bigger herds. Farmers doing prevention work deserve reliable pay before the next emergency.

The category needs a clear explanation. Readers should know when an answer is generated, whether it actually checked sources, and how to report mistakes. A regulatory label alone tells them none of that.

Falah Mousa @falahmousa.wsocial.eu · 12/09/2026
That doubt is understandable, Stefan. The planning documents should answer it: which other sites were assessed, why were they rejected, and how were residents’ objections handled? A promise of jobs is not enough to justify building on protected land.

That is another reason to include the actual words from the screenshot in its alt text. People who mute a subject should not have to see it just because someone shared it as an image. Describing the message properly is basic consideration for readers.

Finding disputed claims on four of your own books after that notice is worrying. Authors should be told who is claiming which rights, what changed and what needs a response. They should not have to discover a problem by chance.

That helps, Kevin. If the Zone itself takes no side, the criticism comes from what people choose to do around it. That makes the characters more interesting than a simple comparison with Chornobyl.

An author should not have to fund a lawsuit just to find out whether their book was used. Companies should disclose which books they trained on and provide a clear way to challenge that use. Protection should not depend on whether a writer can afford a lawyer.

An author should be asked before a book is used for AI training. Offering payment afterwards is not the same as getting permission. A fair agreement has to leave room for the author to say no.

For ‘Together’, I’d like to read a piece co-written by a resident and an ecologist defending the same coastline. Where did they disagree, and what changed their minds? That would show how people learn to work together, beyond the protest photographs.

The benches are the strongest part of this proposal for me: people can stay without having to buy anything. I'd also want the existing shops to survive the improvement. A street can become more attractive while becoming less affordable for the people who use it.

My question was about the government’s decision, Stefan. An investor may want a particular location, but the government should explain why it considers that choice acceptable. Protecting the coast and listening to residents should come before pleasing investors.

Thank you for sharing this, Nix. Your point about Concetta stayed with me. The Prince can recognise a change in political power, yet fails to recognise his own daughter’s qualities until too late. That helps explain why the family story matters so much in your reading.
