An indigenous man with long black hair and glowing yellow eyes holds a skull with worms coming out of it and raises his other hand in the air, a storm swirls behind him & insects fly around him.

Travel is a good way to expand your horizons. It's also a good way to meet talkative animals in little tweed suits who will invite you to their book club at the secret library hidden deep in the old forest.

The image is of a four panel comic. The title reads "Poltergeist".
In the first panel we see a woman with a worried expression on her face. She says, "stuff keeps moving around my house."
In the second panel the same woman says "I'm terrified. I can't sleep."
In the third panel we see a ghost holding a candle and a pillow that reads "live laugh love". The ghost is zooming through the house.
In the fourth panel we see the same ghost hanging up a frame and thinking, "home decor is my passion".

If I found a sword in a stone, I would leave it there. The sword probably has a perfectly valid reason to want to kill the stone, so who am I to get involved in their eternal struggle?

They are shockingly similar to fairy myths in Europe & I don't know if that is due to European influence or if the stories were always that way. Probably a bit of both. It seems everywhere in the world people tell these sorts of stories

This is also similar to when someone goes to a fairy realm and then returns to the human realm and discovers that more time has passed there than in the fairy realm and so they can't reunite with their kin.
