not a killer sample size, but i struggled to find much of a consensus among either music producers or layman on what "more sharp" meant, even though everyone was confident in their own idea of sharpness as far as i could tell "more tinny" is solved tho, everyone is kumbaya on what that tin be about

my undergrad thesis was on computer interpretation of simple adjectives to program EQs, really interesting work being done but probably still a fair way to go! one starting hurdle could be that we do really struggle to agree amongst humans on how common music terms actually apply quantifiably

otherwise for those its a re-record with a pop filter, or if no pop filter, try angling the microphone so it's front is angled more to the left or right, instead of flat on towards mouth if you do in fact mean the proximity effect tone then just use an EQ to reduce the volume of the low end!
