And my go to analogy is giving your car keys to a drunk person. Your husband/wife/boyfriend/whatever may do good things, but they are still handing over the reins to someone who will do harm. And that doesn't absolve them of it. I don't want to be around people who would do that.

The weirdest thing I have to explain to straight people is... "No, I'd leave my partner if he was MAGA." Like, they never seem to grasp that I am part of a community that they want eliminated. Above and beyond all of it; they are so isolated from that harm that it would never cross their mind.

I feel like one of the most satisfying MtG experiences is suggesting something for a friend's deck, they take your advice, and it turns out you were right. Case in point, a friend love his Fire Lord Zuko deck and wanted to improve it. I suggested prepared spells. The deck went crazy.
