Yesterday’s movies 2 & 3/31 The Serpent’s Skin (2026) - mixed reviews on this one, but I really admired the dreamlike quality it had Day of the Dead (1985) - hands down one of my favourite horror movies of all time!

It’s been a slow month, but now that I’m back home in Ireland I can watch movies again! #letterboxdfriday #lastfourwatched

Smile 2 (2024) I’m glad I got around to watching it, but the one aspect I’m personally not a fan of is the pantomime act of: Did it happen, boys and girls? Oh yes it did! Oh no it didn’t!

I had high expectations to go for a walk today, but my brain was way too muddled 😶‍🌫️ so, just for today I explored my house, until I’m ready 🌱

Heel / The Good Boy (2025) I was delighted to see the combination 2 fantastic actors: Stephan Graham playing a, somewhat, softer character and Andrea Riseborough gracing the screen in a haunting and graceful way.

Send Help (2026) Last one for the evening! This was a fun watch. I wasn’t too satisfied with the ending, or the weird snot and vomit shots that had that getting-on-the-screen-effect but definitely a decent watch!

Yes, yes and yes. Rehashing the same horrors on repeat is (believe it or not) repetitive and dull. New horror stories should be created to reflect the times. It doesn’t mean they have to be 100% original concepts, as long as they’re not the same story recreated with lack of added lore.

As amazing as it is adding a new kitten to the family, it has also been so stressful. I thought the only issue we would face for the next month would be acclimating the cats together. Nope. The day after I got Galileo (Monday) I noticed he had cold and flu symptoms.

The Buck Moon on the 29th of July 🦌✨🌕 For male deer the regrowth of antlers represents a yearly cycle of strength, renewal and maturation. Their antlers develop rapidly in the summer heat and reach impressive sizes 🦌

“Other Mommy” reminds me of a mix of Coraline and that one story where you hear your mother’s voice calling you from upstairs and as you go up you hear your mother’s voice from downstairs saying “that’s not your mother”. Or something along those lines I’m interested!
