and i say mostly bc once planted there’s no real need to move. but his roots stretch far and deep, and because of this his influence also spans a wide range (how i’m trying to incorporate the concept of proxies. since i never understood why he needed them when he could already visit/kill people)

with the exception of the hole in his chest where the bodies go. i can’t say if he’s actually eating people or just keeping them in a nebulous meat dimension, that’s for you to decide. but he cannot hunt for people himself, they have to come to him, since he’s mostly stationary

i knew i definitely wanted to make mine lean into cosmic/eldritch horror territory, since morley grove is my personal favorite take on him. i was also heavily inspired by the arm from twin peaks: the return (can you tell) so instead of a tall man in a suit, he’s texturally a tree/fungus

for his hair, i took a lot of inspiration from other redesigns that turned it into a wig. i tried to make mine look a little tangled/ragged (i doubt he’d take care of it). and i ended up just giving him a basic bowie knife, something he’d be able to hide in his pockets unlike a typical kitchen knife

(and something fun i wanted to include here is if you cover his “smile”, it becomes very obvious that he’s upset/in a lot of pain)

for starters he is very much a shitty 14 year old with very warped ideas about Society. i wanted to take a more realistic approach with him, so i referenced irl burn scar patterning and how it usually looks once it heals - as opposed to his mouth scars, which he deliberately keeps open

before i read up on what flock is capable of i knew it was scary, but once i read reporting on exactly what cops are able to see and what information its able to parse from very little input, it genuinely became terrifying that this is in every corner of the country

THE FALL OF EREGION - CHAPTER 1 - THE MEETING 🧵 (by @fightyoursorrow.bsky.social & @tasarinan.bsky.social )

Chapter 1, the Meeting. View from behind. A rider atop a mule looks out over a vast landscape. There is a small palm tree in a basket mounted on the back of the mule.

contacting their family is something we recently tried taking more seriously. it’s just been hard getting any info that we could use because they’ve been so tight-lipped :/ but it is something we’re determined to get. thanks for the wise words though ;-;

that’s something i’ve definitely considered, for the sake of my own mental wellbeing. i haven’t largely because i’m one of the few friends (less than a handful) this person has. and we try to be as good of a support system as we can but again, our friend has made little progress :(

010

🥀 indrid | commissions OPEN🗡️ @faemothra.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

and i can’t even tell them that it’s hard to watch them circle the drain over and over again because that would only affirm they’re wasting people’s time by being around them. what do you do??

🥀 indrid | commissions OPEN🗡️ @faemothra.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

putting this on here because the person in question isn’t on this platform but what do you even do when you have a friend who’s convinced they’re a soulless subhuman and content to be miserable forever. like not even making an effort to be honest to their therapist about their struggles either

another ref sheet! this one’s been a wip for about a year now, but a while back i gave myself a little project that involved taking an old oc i made in middle school and giving it a major update. and here we are🌞 #pokemonoc

this girl has been around for a few months now and i’m just now getting to making her a ref sheet. sorry lydwine. ANYWAY this is who i’ve been playing as in a curse of strahd campaign alongside my bf. it’s been very…fun🩷not scary or stressful at all #oc #artfight
