I'll overshare and ramble because it's late: I was born with a brain that has a coinflip chance of killing me over the course of a decade. People love to talk about helping the mentally ill, but very few people want to deal with a mentally ill *person*.

On my worst days I'm struggling to know what the world is, if I own a dog, if I can talk to trees. I have to second and triple guess the entire world. I can't do any of the things I want to. I don't know how to relate this experience to anyone. It's random and cruel and unfair.

So I relate to your posting. I think we feel many of the same things for different reasons.

I'm exhausted. I feel isolated. I have what Kanye has but without the money. Despite the genuinely helpful efforts of modern medicine, there is no way to fix me.

I don't want to say trite shit like "It gets better," that always infuriates me. But I do continue. Despite the odds, we have both managed to continue.

And, every now and then, I reach a day that makes me happy I'm still here.

Just found out that my Governor, to use his words, "is completely aligned" with Charlie Kirk's views on Trans athletes. I sent him physical hate mail and you should to. Someone has to open and read it. Newsom will see it counted. Attached below for the team running @governor.ca.gov 's account.

I'm writing on 3/6 after having learned that my — soon-to-be-former — Governor hung out with a known and admitted "Nazi".

They had a wide-ranging discussion during which Mr. Newsom failed to challenge any of the misinformation and Christian-fascist propaganda. This legitimizes those fascist views not only in Mr. Newsom's name, but mine. As a citizen of California, I have never been more ashamed of my governor.

Specifically, when the discussion of Trans Americans came up, Mr. Newsom stated conditional agreement with several Nazi talking points designed to justify the harm and eventual elimination of Californians on the basis of their identity.

The soon-to-be-former Governor should know that a person can either aid or oppose a fascist. There is no middle ground. Mr. Newsom, while representing me, chose to aid a fascist cause.

I'm aware that Mr. Newsom is running for president and understand his desire to change his image as a "woke California elite." However, it is an insult to all Californians that he believes they will vote for a collaborator.

This fascism is the populist movement of the moment; however, a leader has the duty to use their judgment, authority, and power to choose what is best for those represented by them.

In his decisions over the last few hours, Mr. Newsom has demonstrated his gutless lack of principles.

I hope Mr. Newsom will one day feel shame

Twitch TOS going around is disappointing, but the screenshot you probably saw is deceptive. This stuff only applies to Destiny and other "debate" streamers.

Highlighted TOS that points out while twitch does now require "political" discussions to be labeled, it only applies to streams focused on non-educational discussion of these topics.
