📣 Did I mention my books were on sale? 📣 Adelaide's got a boring life. 8-6 job. Lives with her parents. No relationship. She's been obsessing over the space pirate that flirted with her, and now she's leaving the planet #LGBTQBooks #QueerBooks #LesbianBooks #WLW #SapphFic #LesFic #SciFiBooks 🌈📚💙

Leaving the planet with nothing but your purse
“Your planet kinda sucks.”
(That’s not how it works)
“That’s just how it works”
Making deliveries along the way

Title: Is This What You Really Want, Adelaide Black?

Byline: RJ Martin

Image: Two women face away, watching a sunset. Two moons in the sky tell us it’s an alien world, and an angular space ship flies overhead. In the distance, a dark building rises on an island in a dark gray sea.

Actually every character in the book is me. 1st person? Third? It doesn't matter. The main character? Me. The love interest? Also me. The villain? If they're hot, oh yeah that's me. The dog of course is me. Until they do something i wouldn't. Then this book is terrible and the author is evil

‘Do you usually write happy, sad, or other kinds of ending?’ I often write bittersweet endings. Or rather I’ll up the sweet or the bitter depending on if I want a happy or sad ending. Romances get mostly sweet, tragedies get the bitter. But every ending has a bit of both, it gives the finish flavor

'What's the scariest thing you've ever written' It was a creature called the Falser, inspired by the false hydra and some other stuff. Basically it was a void-sent that kidnaps children and then everyone forgets them except other children, who are left terrified that they'll be next and forgotten

'What's your favorite part of writing?' I love dialogue, writing it is just so much fun and it lets me show off really fun character dynamics. How people speak says a lot about them, dialogue is usually the first thing my drafts have
