It’s super straightforward! If youre coming from Unity then you should have an easy time transitioning over. Just make sure you give yourself a bit of time to adapt to the differences in methodologies!

I mean, fair; but the engine itself is 30 years old and maintained by one guy. People can say they want native Linux support all they want, but a horse is never going to fly, so to speak. There are plenty of other Linux compatible options out there that they can use.

I work with a multiplayer engine in which the client explicitly, boldly, does not support Linux. It only supports windows, very clearly. Half of the support tickets are for running it on wine 🙃

Id look at what they disclose and make a decision based on that. If they use it for content, probably not. If they’re using it to document their code for them, or check large docs for grammar or spelling errors? Sure.

Finished adding in the full range of customization options to my character rig. All in all this project took about 9 hours to complete. Very happy with how this turned out. This week I'll get a UI set up for customizing characters. Stay tuned! #gamedev #indiegame #godot #pixelart
