My view though is that he didn’t actually plan on it initially, but after the election & continued attacks, he felt it was the only way to protect his son. I’m not sure it matters anyways though 100
Ezra Kirkpatrick @ezrakirkpatrick.bsky.social · 03/12/2024Yeah they do. A court could try to overturn it, but the Supreme Court has made very clear the president has the power to pardon anyone he wants. Like Trump did in 2020. People tried to fight it but the courts reaffirmed the pardon power. 100
