Yeah I noticed it was the same director as The Blob, which I really liked. The second one wasn’t bad. Taking it into a psychological horror direction was an interesting turn, and the actor was great at being an anxious sleep deprived wreck. I hear the movies don’t really get good again until ‘94

Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors was what I had expected the series to be. I watched the first one decades ago and was kinda meh on it, but I really enjoyed 3. It’s definitely cornier but it’s the chances that it takes that make it so cool.

I have vague memories too of computers in general being considered harmful in the 80s because they did enable a lot of big data relative to the time. One of the perks of cash is that it wasn’t tracked on a credit card. Not entirely wrong, but the world didn’t come to an end either.

Today it’s Decapattack, an okayish platformer. It’s another throw-your-buddy game, in that Vic Tokai style like Kid Kool and Psycho Fox. Tbh I prefer Psycho Fox, but this one is good too and has huge levels to explore if that’s your thing. There is a related non-horror Japanese game, Magical Hat.
