explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 11/10/2025We find rugby a good thing to watch to relax after day job when we want some brain engagement of a completely different sort. We can’t write immediately after day job neither of us can switch brain gears that fast. 010
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 11/10/2025@liammcilvanney.bsky.social Well I watched NPC quarterfinal game and Otago won! I don’t think they’ve ever made the semis since I’ve been watching. Pledger is definitely one to watch. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s an All Black in the near future. 110
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 05/09/2025Most definitely need to go find that for weekend viewing. 010
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 05/09/2025I’m about halfway through it and enjoying it so far. The parent/daughter and partner relationships are really good. They’re just as annoying as real ones. 020
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 19/08/2025That looks really good. 010
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 18/08/2025@sirbenfro.bsky.social My highland coo fold expanded again! Meet Henry my cuddly coo with a hot/cold pack weighted tummy and weighted hooves. He’s a hefty 4.5 lbs and gives wonderful hugs. He isn’t scented like most hot/cold plushies so doesn’t cause me sensory issues & helps me de-stress. 110
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 18/06/2025Any idea if I can stream #PWR in the US? I was able to see the Celtic Challenge. 000

explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 14/05/2025@valmcdermid.bsky.social Got books for Mother’s Day. I really enjoyed Queen Macbeth. Sat down and read it all in one go. Learned some new Gaelic words. I only wish it was longer! I think I’ll get hubby to read it out loud so he can enjoy it too and I can enjoy a second time. 000
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 21/04/2025Hubby Gerald @gee-man05.bsky.social is turning 60 soon. I am collecting people’s designs of Snuffles for his birthday. Dress him up or color his fur fancy then send to me by May 1st. 000
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 05/04/2025Will have tasty treats with the rugby this weekend because our shipment of Scottish sweets arrived! Saltire rock is the best. 000
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 02/04/2025I honestly haven’t read much fantasy recently because I kept finding stuff that was really slow. I mostly read crime fiction as it moves faster and it’s related more to my steampunk detectives I’m writing. So it was nice to find a faster paced fantasy book. 010
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 01/04/2025@cameronjohnston.bsky.social I finished the last shield today. I really enjoyed it. Hope you can return to that setting. It would be great to see King Kester have an adventure with his advisor and Commander of Shields. 110
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 27/03/2025Yes exactly, you see many pics of real cows like that. They seem to make a different frequency of moo also. Interesting what details they added and what they left out. 000
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 27/03/2025Just the one color. You can make Saltire banners though. 010
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 27/03/2025No just that one. They have random hair configurations though. Some you can’t see their eyes. 100
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 26/03/2025@sirbenfro.bsky.social Well Minecraft got Highland coos yesterday so we made a coo farm on a windy hills biome rock plateau. I snapped a picture of the baby coo. 120
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 12/03/2025We have a don’t eat the last bowl without okay of other humans living in the house rule due to similar pb cereal issues! 010
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 12/03/2025So for ADHD adults I would need to plan only a short museum visit and longer on the sites? 100
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 11/03/2025How was the Burns Museum? That’s on my list of places to visit in Scotland. As well as some other things nearby. 110
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 11/03/2025Pictured are hubby Gerald @gee-man05.bsky.social and our daughter Shadow. 000
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 11/03/2025Was our 34th wedding anniversary yesterday so we had a special dinner outing for teppanyaki. 231
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 07/03/2025Enjoying this volume immensely. About halfway through it but already wishing some sections were longer! 110
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 26/02/2025We introduced my daughter to them and now her dad has to hide any we get in. She loves Irn Bru too but its expensive here so we only have occasionally. Tunnocks anything last about 5 seconds once the box is open. When she 1st goes to Scotland hopefully she will be working so can pay for her snacks. 120
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 26/02/2025Well hopefully my Glaswegian lesbian steampunk detectives will be something you like. 010
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 26/02/2025It is set in Victorian Glasgow and features lesbian detectives who work with the police. Trying to sort out my work time (many overseas clients who are in many timezones) so I can block some writing time when I ignore Whatsapp. Not YA but no naughty details so YA friendly adult. 000
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 23/02/2025Will be looking forward to this! I am mostly reading short SFF or crime at the moment. Trying to get back writing on my crime steampunk novel so reading things to help me with pace and flow. 120
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 23/02/2025The other was Silverblaze by Conan Doyle. Both total wastes of time for rereading and they actually appeared in many high school and early college lit textbooks so he was disappointed newer stories weren’t included. 010
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 23/02/2025Gerald’s teacher chose 2 stories which really pissed him off because he had read them before and they weren’t actually murders because a horse and an orangutan did it. 110
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 23/02/2025Years ago my husband took a class like that on writing mysteries during his masters studies. Your crime writing one is probably very informative. 110
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 23/02/2025prefer the paperback because it is lighter weight 000
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 23/02/2025Larger font size if there is a difference. 200
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 23/02/2025Is the font the same size? 100
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 23/02/2025I just got paid. The new anthology? We would love a signed one. How much and how do I pay? 110
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 20/02/2025I need to look for some of you on Facebook. I just got on there recently. 010
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 20/02/2025Leaner and some cuts are really large. Same grass fed flavor influences. 110
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 20/02/2025Could you tell Ian Hunter that I loved that the Glasgow Warriors still exist in his future Glasgow. We follow them via a streaming service since we moved. Ian doesn’t social media that I could locate. 110
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 20/02/2025So I will be able to ship one from the UK then. I have dead tree editions of all of them. 100
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 20/02/2025It’s not us with the coos but a friend. We buy our meat from them. We get to visit when they have new wee ones. 110
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 20/02/2025Our local farm highland coos outside Portland Oregon must be really clean because this winter has been very wet. 120
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 20/02/2025I really liked Gods of the Deepwood. Moyna kicked arse and I hope she gets further adventures. 110
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 17/02/2025So far I’ve just read yours and Al’s. His is in Scots and very weird (normal for him). We miss GSFWC so much. Our own writings haven’t been moving forward much since we moved. 010
explodingspaceship.bsky.social @explodingspaceship.bsky.social · 17/02/2025Finally got a copy. When I first looked US Amazon had a really long ship date & then I forgot to check back. We both miss Glasgow and GSFWA so much but we had to move. So far I really like the stories. Having Scots stories is great because it reminds me of my great- grandmother. 000
