Waiting for a more pay teachers are expected to teach, manage behaviour, engage every learner etc. Our professional learning inquiry package can investigate views on student self-regulation & self-direction so teachers can spend less time managing & more time teaching. qedpd.com.au/consultancy-...

Post on instagram reads CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN how teachers are supposed to arrive early, teach all day, manage 30 different personalities in every class, differentiate every lesson, keep students engaged, deal with behavior, answer parent emails, attend meetings, collect data, grade assignments, update online systems, complete paperwork, plan tomorrow's lessons, support struggling students, challenge advanced students, cover for absent coworkers, supervise lunch and dismissal, keep up with every new initiative, AND somehow still have enough energy left to go home and be a functioning human being. Nobody's talking enough about how impossible that workload actually is.

Fit for purpose? On reviewing this function the answer is a categorical NO. A tool that makes multiple mistakes, is irreparable, Incorrigible, running costs high & detrimental , opaque values & principles & workings …In its own words ‘Potential inaccuracies, bias, or hallucinations’ #AI

Aren’t these things inconsequential in the realm of the gods? Do (mere humans) now have to decide to act or wait for Zeus,Dharma or karma, Ragnarök, the loss of the Mandate from Heaven …or the ensuing consequences? Mythologies world wide hold enduring truths & stories of gods that act with impunity

The Master Drone (Italian: Il Pa-Drone), popularly referred to as God Emperor Trump, was a 65-foot (20-metre) papier-mâché sculpture and float depicting Donald Trump, the president of the United States, dressed as the fictional God Emperor of Mankind from the Warhammer 40,000 miniature war game franchise. Listening to #profbriancox ask « what does it mean to live a finite, fragile life in an infinite eternal universe ? » Made me want to ask: if we all took a moment to really consider how rare, beautiful, precious and precarious we all are and this world is - would we care a little more?
