If you'd like anecdotal advice: the trick of "if i spend lots of money on workout stuff, I will be incentivized to use it" does NOT work (for me). Instead I am now in the same shape and also i spent $360 to not go to the gym for 3 months.

I worked in Duluth for a summer, and i miss it dearly. My Caribou job in Canal Park had me in the thick of big events like Grandma's Marathon and Tall Ships, and of course every time the lift bridge had boat traffic you'd see people make their way down.
