ExEr7um @exer7um.com · 24/09/2026X2 already had an 8kHz wireless report rate, and even Superlight 2 did. The wired report rate was always capped at 1000Hz and still is on X3. X3 didn’t change anything with the report rate, it’s completely the same as X2. 000
ExEr7um @exer7um.com · 13/09/2026Nice one. Two things that I found lacking were IBAN and credit card validation, both of which were added in the last two updates. Thanks! 010

ExEr7um @exer7um.com · 01/07/2026The "8-10x" floating around forums is just PS4's 6x figure carried over by analogy, still using PS4's 36 Mbit/s base, not an actual UHD BD measurement. An official Sony spec would use UHD's own (higher) 1x base, so the multiplier would look smaller, but the resulting speed would be the same. 100
ExEr7um @exer7um.com · 01/07/2026UHD Blu-ray is a different format, but it still uses the same Blu-ray physical standard. The 1x speed comes from that standard, not the disc type. 100
ExEr7um @exer7um.com · 01/07/2026There’s no official spec. I derived it from the base Blu-ray rate (1x = 36 Mbit/s, that's an actual standard) and an assumed 8-10x drive multiplier (288-360 Mbit/s), floated around forums as a comparison to PS4's confirmed 6x drive. 220
ExEr7um @exer7um.com · 01/07/2026They’re not. They only need to exceed ~300 Mb/s, which is easily achievable by pretty much any service. 100
ExEr7um @exer7um.com · 01/07/2026The theoretical maximum read speed of the PS5 disc drive is 288-360 Mb/s. For actual game installations, it’s even lower, the drive doesn’t maintain its peak speed across the entire disc. With a stable gigabit connection, you get at least a 3x speedup, in reality, often even more. 340
ExEr7um @exer7um.com · 20/05/2026For me both WhatsApp and Instagram still does not have it. And telegram had it for more than half a year, even macOS app updated to Liquid Glass last week. 000

ExEr7um @exer7um.com · 21/01/2026But they can break breakpoints a bit. For example, with a 1280 px-wide window and an always-visible scrollbar, the actual viewport becomes ~1270 px.
