this was really fun to do!!!!! i don't know if anyone will read it because it isn't a traditional fic... but i love epistolary work and it was fun to try to write something that fit directly into the world.

When I published my translation of “The Death of Life”, I did not expect it would receive any recognition. Compared to the other discoveries made by researchers in the mantle ruins that brought us new technologies and theoretical knowledge, it was an irrelevant text with no educational value. Furthermore, the subject matter was so devoid of hope that one had to pause before bringing it to the public’s attention: could a single person find worth in its pages? I believed it was a frivolous, meaningless project on my part.

However, the response from the people was simply astounding.

The end of all pain and suffering, and along with it, all chance of a new beginning. It was terrifying, and yet she could not bring herself to hate Amiya. She only feared what had drove her to this conclusion, the tragedy that had been written for her. What had that girl seen?

Tears fill Nymph’s eyes. Her hand stretches out, her fingers touching the black crown on the Cautus’s head. Amiya blinks, surprised. She had not expected Nymph to break through the boundaries of the story.
