I used to have a dog that hated my (lovely) next door neighbours, from Malaysia. She'd even growl at them when they were hand-feeding her treats. I reckon you can put her on the list.

Good luck, I sent John le Carre the best bits from my new Bond novel, for his approval, and he didn't even reply to my email.

"I would not have released those people on bail," says the man who has repeatedly criticised the decision to release 5 other guys, even after their conviction was overturned on DNA evidence.

Then the section adding about attitudes to those news sources gets cut down further.

Right, it's a big old survey, and a lot of people were asked it, 5,397 in total. Of those, 3,503 said they'd used *any* BBC TV channel for news in the past month. It's important here to understand that these aren't necessarily 3½K people sitting down to the 6 o'clock news every night.

Is GB News the most trustworthy news source? Well, it's 7:30am, I'm waiting for a boring data export to complete, so let's take a look.

Over on Twitter, some nutter claims to have found Noah's Ark and says, "When we are done, University curriculums will need to be re-written, and Darwinism will be dismantled." In response to a reply, saying you couldn't fit every species of animal onto a single boat, she replies…
A tweet, saying that Noah probably only bought two of every kind of animal, not every species, and adaptation and breeding since then has created the species. Which sounds a bit like, you know, Darwinism.

I managed to put my back out this week, lugging the bike around, but Mrs R was adamant that this was the weekend the box-drain around the conservatory was getting cleaned, so I gallantly sent her out onto the roof to do it… #NoSexismHere

I created this slide, for our internal training on AI, on when it's fine to use it and when you should be worried. Sadly, a lot of the people I see using it still fall into the bottom row.

I guess they could have missed a '1' off the start of the lower end (which wouldn't explain the precision) but reading their "About us" section my guess is that they'd take you on at £140,737.58 but by the time you'd earned £38,168.90 they'd be down the tubes.

I've fallen down a bit of an Indeed black hole. There's a lot of strange stuff on there. So puzzled as to why this one has specified the salary range *to the penny* when it covers a £100k+ range. (Obvs if they'd been willing to go to £140,737.60 I'd have applied, but I know what I'm worth)

Chris Williamson, wearing his traditional black, cowled robe, and carrying a scythe, turns up at the door of the Green Party.
A tweet from former Labour MP, Chris Williamson, who was, until this tweet, the deputy leader of the Workers Party of Britain - a position traditionally given to anybody who could stomach George Galloway - announcing that he's resigned from the party and is supporting the Greens in Holborn & St Pancras.
This is because he believes the left must unite to defeat Labour, Reform, the Conservatives, and the Lib Dems (in that order of priority?) as they are all, "in the pocket of the neoliberal Zionist war machine."
Good news, he agrees with Zack on creating magic money to make everyone richer, legalising drugs, and doing <indistinct mumbling> with illegal immigration and the criminal justice system.
He disagrees with them on being pro-EU and pro-NATO, but no doubt he'll find some friends in the Greens and they'll get on with doing what they do best; fighting other members of their own party.

In the early days of Pratchett there was a really clear marketing decision to pitch him as, “Douglas Adams, but fantasy” that - credit to the marketers - stuck, long after it ceased to be true. From my 1986 copy of The Light Fantastic…
