I'll go in person to the county courthouse to cast my ballot. Not the 1st day, but the 1st week. Everyone who can should do vote early: It helps GOTV efforts, people they don't have to remind/encourage to vote. I switched to mail voting because of Covid, but I'm back to early voting again now.

During the 1970s OPEC oil boycott, I joined a carpool with some co-workers. One of them was sure that if gas hit $1, we would have a revolution. There weren’t long lines of parents picking their kids up at school. Back then, kids took the bus.

Nothing much available. Heavy rains & flash floods in the region have led to vehicle losses that have eaten up the supply. So I'm told. We found a limo to take us to ABQ tomorrow and a friend will pick us up and take us home from there. And now the afternoon storm has knocked the power out.

2006 Karl Rove pushed US Attys to prosecute voter fraud. David Iglesias in NM was fired for not finding any. Had they not fired him, Iglesias might have ended up GOP Sen from NM, to this day. Long term consequence. Rove should talk about that effort. It contributed to Blue Wave of 2006.

Incredibly lucky. Spin around full turn at 70 mph or so and there were several trucks around but no other vehicles involved. We had multiple people stop to help us. Some ended up in hotel room with Jacuzzi. Good cuz I already feel a little sore

I never give $ except to individual candidates. Never ads, texts &c. Then 179 candidates I never heard of start hitting me up for donations. Stop. End. Delete and report spam. Doesn't slow it down. They must share (sell?) all the donor lists to each other. Totally annoying, & I NEVER give to them
