Actual Tim Roth quote when he was asked about why he did it. I will say I have seen a lot of bad movies and it is probably the worst movie I have ever seen. The Room is a lot better. Battlefield Earth is better, Cats is a better movie.

The film is awful (can’t say that because I haven’t seen it) I hated doing it, it was the wrong film but for the right reasons. I had two kids in college so I had to make a decision and it was probably poorly judged, but once you make that decision you have to follow through. It’s a hard road, being in something you don’t want to do, but I’m glad I did it for my family.

Sadly we had to put down Fuzzy yesterday, after 13 amazing years of having him. He was such a sweet goofball and an amazing service dog. I deeply miss him.

Got to see @thelongestjohns.bsky.social in Victoria the other day. Second time seeing them and just an amazing performance. Before the concert they were easily my fav band and they are still my fav band. My 80 year old grandmother went with me to the concert and she loved it as well.

I would argue that the Death of Stalin is Britain’s greatest comedy and I don’t feel it gets the recognition it deserves. Simon Russell Beale as Lavrentiy Beria is genuinely terrifying, Jason Isaacs is a fantastic bombastic Zhukov, and Olga Kurylenko is spectacular as Maria Veniaminovna Yudina.

I don’t see this film getting the recognition it deserves as one of the all time great horror films. I know I am biased since a lot of it was shot near my dad’s hometown.
