someone do explain to me how come the most British face that ever walked the Earth, Edward Holcroft, plays a Polish/Polish-heritage man on #Industry? Can't HBO do better? there are Polish, Eastern European and surely half-Polish actors out there. just as there are half-Polish writers.

you can't convince me that Rene Magritte didn't paint Audrey Horne from Twin Peaks. Portrait of Stephy Langui, 1961.

4 years ago I was presenting (online, awfully stuttering) my essay idea to Laura Mulvey and then she was a second marker on one of my essays at Birkbeck. and now I had the pleasure of making season artwork for the upcoming retrospective of her work at the British Film Institute this autumn! :)

moving out to Brighton soon and turns out a mattress or a sofa bed are expensive purchases so i am once again offering someone to buy it because i don’t wear it enough. it deserves to be worn. it’s probably a good XL size, i’m normally an M and it’s too oversize on me. took me 2 months to make.

considering selling my ghibli cardigan! handmade! my second cardi (first went to my ex lol) it’s acrylic yarn so it stretched overtime and looks like a bag on me. will look better on xl or a bigger person!

✨ look at what she’s illustrated and designed! ✨ if everyone could make their way to the BFI Southbank in April for the Bong Joon Ho retrospective this would be very cool and much appreciated! 🧡💚💜 for the inpatient folks there are a few goodies at the BFI IMAX now-ish pre-Mickey 17!

lol THE BRUTALIST and BAFTA Longlist for casting. again, casting British actors as Hungarians is very poor taste. casting Hungarians as sex workers is also poor taste. get a grip BAFTAs.

PRACTICAL MAGIC was on the tv and it took only a few mins for my brain to be brought back to watching E.R. with mom. Goran Višnjić hotness embroidered into my brain. little did i know he is actually Croatian and played Croatian doctor on the show. this is what i want in casting!

not in a Bauhaus or Brutalist style but in the style of Laszlo Tóth’s sketches. a 7:50am flight boredom turned into a hazy fan art for Brady Corbet’s THE BRUTALIST. excited for everyone else to experience this movie!

controversial opinion. Mark Eydelshteyn isn’t Russian Timothee Chalamet. he is Russian Josh O’Connor. dare i suggest a multilingual film in which they play half-brothers. someone call Luca Guadagnino! or Kirill Serebrennikov.
