Having now beat silksong properly (iykyk) I can say it's one of my favourite games of all time. It's such a grand culmination of gameplay, music and storytelling. While there's downs, the ups easily outweigh them. If you haven't been playing it, do yourself the favor and play it.

The more I read the Argostar cards, the better they become. Astra is able to, for 1 card, get 2 level 4 bodies, search either the field spell (recursion + negate) or another trap and non-target bounce any card is super good. Please consider these cards as more than just pack filler there's potential

With the advent of the OCG banlist and a lil bit of my tinkering with a deck I completely forgot about until the Konami stream, I present Argostar Ryzeal! turns out Glorious Astra is a 1 card r4nk that makes the traps unrespondable so you can make ANY r4nk against detonator! Just food for thought :3

Protos I think is in one of its weakest states where it's just ok? If you can consistently call light and have it not impact your endboard it's insane again but rn it's only good for like maliss. Also I have no idea how good the heraldic beast stuff is, I've seen them and I can't get a read at ALL

I've done some testing with the @ignister cards in maliss and I'm very confident in saying maliss will be the best deck when the support releases, at least in the tcg. I can see the ocg feeling less inclined because it plays really badly into maxx c.

After a lil bit of refining, I'm sticking to this list. I love this so far with testing! it's super flexible, spirit being interaction while becoming another interaction point is soooooo good. ultimate fusion, even without magia package, also gives a piece of interaction while being good into lab :3

Primites do feel a little weird for me bc it's a conditional negate and the main combo just doesn't end on a normal/primite in hand or a normal on field (as far as I can see but I could just be wrong) but there's no other free discard that the primites give and they generate so much free advantage

After messing around with the new Primite cards, imo this is one of the better ways to build the deck (assuming we don't get the level 1 light spellcaster normal). I definitely see the appeal of these cards in this deck but low starters imo which is why I'm running Neo Kaiser over more non-engine
