A hero's final rest. #lego #bionicle

A colourful drawing of line art and watercolour of bionicle Toa Tahu. The Red Orange one. Resting against a tree in the woods. At his feet are the 5 masks of all the other original bionicles heroes. A Spot of sunshine comes through the trees. Wide enough to form a circle in the shape of Tahu and ailluminate him in the otherwise dark forest. Toa is covvered in rust and dust. Leafs spout from his shoulders and mask. His plating looks old and battered. One may wonder how long he has been here.

Keith David as Botar, and Peter Cullen as Axon (this was before his passing). I found it really funny how the entire fandom collectively agrees Axon should sound like Optimus.

I spent way way WAY too much time on this, but now through every book, film, fan film, and a few fan casts, I've got every character in Bionicle lore has been fan casted. This isn't for a bigger project or anything, just my interpretation of the universe.

Mike McFarland was so tremendously talented and passionate about his work. If he was directing, you knew you were getting a quality English dub. Most importantly, he was a beloved friend to so many of his peers. I appreciate how generous and giving he was to our little podcast. You will be missed.

We mourn the loss of Mike McFarland at 56. From Buggy the Clown, Master Roshi and Jean Kirstein, his voice and work behind the scenes shaped countless anime memories. Thank you for everything, Mike. Rest in peace.

*part of the Bayverse probably not The Bumblebee movie is also a good example, I guess I just like the idea that the Transformers are a government conspiracy

Fuck it while I'm still here Cybertron is one of the best Transformers shows right up there with Animated and Prime, if it(and the rest of the Unicron Trilogy) had better animation and less episodes they'd be better received

In a lot of those shows they're still not very well hidden idk. Maybe Cybertron

Like imagine a series that has the Autobots and Decepticons using their vehicle mode's as super hero alter egos or something

Evolved Nathaniel @evonate.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Outside of TFP and maybe the Bayverse movies the series doesn't play on the concept of Robots in disguise that much. I like Bumblebee being able to talk more, and him being annoying and cringe is part of his character.

Even after largely being replaced by Garry Chalk Peter Cullen was all too happy to hype up the next generation of Transformers.

03018

Evolved Nathaniel @evonate.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

There have been multiple different versions of Optimus played by different people like any popular character each great, but Cullen's Optimus WAS Optimus Prime. While he was the first, no matter how Optimus was written, his performance resignated with multiple generations. Till all are one
