Benchmarked this thing with a realistic read/write load in a test and high concurrency (10k adds/sec on one routine, 7 additional concurrent routines testing as fast as possible). v.s. a naive RWMutex implementation on a 8c16t test box it was ~14x faster (~14M tests/sec) github.com/ericvolp12/a...

Today I lost an NIH grant training clinicians to do research about intimate partner violence with perinatal women. More women are murdered in the perinatal period than die of obstetric complications. I didn't just lose a grant. We lost an entire cohort of people building careers to prevent that.

Have any folks had success in using Qiagen's DNA/RNA/Protein AllPrep kit and downstream protein => MS/MS? The kit in principle should work for MS, but not clear how much optimization/prep needs to be done upfront for captured proteins. 🧬
