Some heartbreaking news. Received a phone call from a vet that no-one wants. My beautiful, funny, silly, and feisty cat Tilly had been brought in after being attacked by a dog. Efforts to save her were unsuccessful. Hug your pets folks.

1.5 micron grating measured earlier today. As you can see there's no issue with resolution here, and we can likely go quite a bit bigger.

In case you were wondering what ultra-small angle X-ray scattering from a butterfly wing looks like. The central peak is the unscattered beam. Satellite peaks are Bragg-like diffraction from the wing structure, giving rise to its green colour.
