We took to the RV again and it was chaos as usual. It fell off a cliff and into a river and we tried our best to recover it. Unfortunately we couldn't get it out of this spot, it was fun trying though 🚐

I love the updates to the traversal in Gears. The running, sliding and jumping all makes for way different fights. I don't know if sliding in and blasting with your gnasher will ever get dull. Now I just need to master it for PvP

I'm having an absolute blast with the Gears multiplayer. I have always loved the multiplayer for Gears and have spent well over a thousand hours on it over the years, but they've really captured some magic back with this one and I'm going to be playing this a lot!

Completion 175 this year is the absolutely brilliant remaster of Assassin's Creed Black Flag. I loved my time with this one and I'd forgotten most of the story so it was great to enjoy it mostly fresh. The upgrades are really fantastic, it looks and plays so much better than the original.

They added a jump button to Minecraft Dungeons II and obviously this is how you have to up stairs now. This is just one of so many quality of life changes they brought to the second game, but bunny hopping everywhere is definitely a favourite 🐇

Big milestone time again! 🎉 I just tipped over 2 million gamerscore and as with all milestones I wanted to make sure it was special. I thought it was perfect that Minecraft Dungeons II with my wife got me there, because I hit 1 million with her on the first Minecraft Dungeons.

Completion 173 this year is another one of these great little find the cat games. Usual affair, but still good fun just going through the levels finding everything. I also found the final level in this one a little less frustrating than others. This is also backlog completion 35 this year 🗓️

There are so many great games coming out right now, it's hard to keep up. One I've been personally really excited for is Minecraft Dungeons II, me and my wife absolutely loved playing this together and I couldn't wait to play this one with her.

Ok Disc to Digital is so cool, absolutely love this feature. I just spent the afternoon adding like 50 games to my digital library and I can play many on my ROG too. Only a handful didn't have licences, but I'd say 90% of the games I did try got added and it's so seamless!

Completion 171 this year is another one of those simple directional puzzle games. Simple enough, although some of the later levels can be a pain. Best thing about this game is the cute little cows and sheep and their silly little animations 🐄

The double XP weekend was also a successful end to a few big grinds for me on Sea of Thieves. One of which being this update, I've been slowly chipping away at this since we started playing last year and I've finally defeated 500 ghost ships and knocked out this update 👻

Completion 170 this year is a silly game where you can arrange little rooms with furniture. Very basic concept that's pretty fun for a bit, but I felt like it's charm wore off fairly quickly. This is also backlog completion 34 this year 🗓️

Some of the gameplay mechanics are nifty and I enjoyed them, particularly the guy with the fish. Other than that I didn't love the game, but at least it was fairly quick!

Completion 169 this year is What Remains of Edith Finch. I've had this downloaded for years and I finally got round to it. I was really excited to see the story and gameplay to this, but found it all rather dull.

Somehow the speedy recovery is nearly there. I thought this would take me a while but I have been trying to hammer my backlog lately and it shows. That is now 75% of my bean dive recovered in only 2 ish months. At this rate I'll be done before the end of next month! 🫘

Hooked me immediately and completed it in an evening. Definitely got lucky with RNGesus, but well worth a play. Even if you don't have gamepass it's cheap as chips!

Completion 167 this year is another one of those gamepass gems. I wouldn't have looked twice at Buckshot Roulette if it wasn't on gamepass but I'm glad I did check it out. A bizarre spin on Russian Roulette where you make as much money as possible by outlasting your opponent.

All TrueAchievements targets for the month have been hit. This set was super easy, they all came with whatever I've been playing. The Seven Seas took the longest just because I didn't get that many achievements beginning with C. Still managed all these with plenty of time to spare!

Completion 166 this year is a quite awful puzzle game. It's so riddled with bugs that you actually have to use a debug menu to "finish" levels because otherwise the game just crashes when loading these levels. It's fairly quick to do but might be worth skipping because it's a mess 🫠

Completion 163 this year is the final Monument Valley game. This was probably my least favourite of the three. The story is still great and the puzzles are fun. There is a boat you need to control and it has not been well optimised on console and it's a real pain to move.

We've been hitting the end game more on Abyssus and it's wildly fun. Just absolute chaos and endless explosions, also my gun is a sentient fish god, what's not to love. I also love the imagery with the end game boss fight, it's very From Soft esq and in here for it!
