There are so many great games coming out right now, it's hard to keep up. One I've been personally really excited for is Minecraft Dungeons II, me and my wife absolutely loved playing this together and I couldn't wait to play this one with her.

Ok Disc to Digital is so cool, absolutely love this feature. I just spent the afternoon adding like 50 games to my digital library and I can play many on my ROG too. Only a handful didn't have licences, but I'd say 90% of the games I did try got added and it's so seamless!

We hopped back into our RV tonight for more chaos. This game is just pure silly fun and I could honestly make a million videos of the silly stuff that happens while trying to get the RV across the map 🚐

Completion 172 this year is another one of those single screen battlers. I can't get enough of these, that's why I keep playing them. They're nice and easy fun for an afternoon ⚔️

010

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Completion 171 this year is another one of those simple directional puzzle games. Simple enough, although some of the later levels can be a pain. Best thing about this game is the cute little cows and sheep and their silly little animations 🐄

The double XP weekend was also a successful end to a few big grinds for me on Sea of Thieves. One of which being this update, I've been slowly chipping away at this since we started playing last year and I've finally defeated 500 ghost ships and knocked out this update 👻

Ending the double XP weekend with some fireworks 🎆 We made some good progress, made a good dent in our guild XP. Now we're going to have a break this season as it's a slow one and we need a break 🏴‍☠️

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Completion 170 this year is a silly game where you can arrange little rooms with furniture. Very basic concept that's pretty fun for a bit, but I felt like it's charm wore off fairly quickly. This is also backlog completion 34 this year 🗓️

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Well I've made the most of this double XP weekend on Sea of Thieves and ended up playing for about 10 hours today. A weekend well spent, less can be said about the poor souls ship we took over here 🔥

120

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Completion 169 this year is What Remains of Edith Finch. I've had this downloaded for years and I finally got round to it. I was really excited to see the story and gameplay to this, but found it all rather dull.

110

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

We only had a very mini break from Sea of Thieves because this weekend is a bonus weekend so we want to make the most of it. However, the stars aligned on a tricky achievement so we'd thought we would go for it and wouldn't you know it, we managed it this time.

100

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

We've taken a little break from Sea of Thieves and we decided to start RV There Yet and I genuinely laughed so much all evening I've been crying. It's absolutely ridiculous and I loved every moment. Can't wait to go back to it! 🚐

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Somehow the speedy recovery is nearly there. I thought this would take me a while but I have been trying to hammer my backlog lately and it shows. That is now 75% of my bean dive recovered in only 2 ish months. At this rate I'll be done before the end of next month! 🫘

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Getting that bit closer to finishing Abyssus, the gameplay loop has just had me hooked. Even after 30 odd expeditions I'm still enjoying the world, it's so cool. I did get stuck in a falling loop though 🍃

100

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Completion 167 this year is another one of those gamepass gems. I wouldn't have looked twice at Buckshot Roulette if it wasn't on gamepass but I'm glad I did check it out. A bizarre spin on Russian Roulette where you make as much money as possible by outlasting your opponent.

100

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

After having a little weekend break, I came back to Abyssus swinging. We decided to start tackling some of the hardest end game stuff and this is how quickly we're killing some of the end game bosses now. I think we got this down 😎

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

All TrueAchievements targets for the month have been hit. This set was super easy, they all came with whatever I've been playing. The Seven Seas took the longest just because I didn't get that many achievements beginning with C. Still managed all these with plenty of time to spare!

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Completion 166 this year is a quite awful puzzle game. It's so riddled with bugs that you actually have to use a debug menu to "finish" levels because otherwise the game just crashes when loading these levels. It's fairly quick to do but might be worth skipping because it's a mess 🫠

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Completion 165 this year is another one of those neat find the cats games. I haven't played these in a while but I started a few for my bean dive and it was nice to dive back into some of these. It was also nice to hear a cat in the house again 🐈 This is also backlog completion 32 this year 🗓️

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Completion 164 this year is another one of these neat little single screen battlers. This is the easiest one I've done so far, still fun though!

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

We popped to town yesterday and swung by the second hand game shop and I picked up a few neat bits for my collection. I've been eyeing up Toxic Commando since it came out and this was a good price so I nabbed it.

101

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Completion 163 this year is the final Monument Valley game. This was probably my least favourite of the three. The story is still great and the puzzles are fun. There is a boat you need to control and it has not been well optimised on console and it's a real pain to move.

100

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Completion 162 this year is one final stack of this fun little battle game. I really enjoy these silly games, I spent hours playing things like this when I was a kid and now I get achievements for them!

010

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

We've been hitting the end game more on Abyssus and it's wildly fun. Just absolute chaos and endless explosions, also my gun is a sentient fish god, what's not to love. I also love the imagery with the end game boss fight, it's very From Soft esq and in here for it!

100

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I wrapped the new update in TCG Card Shop Simulator and had a blast returning to this. It's neat that you can actually play the card game. It's very simple but fun nevertheless, a great excuse to return to the game. Now I'm back to 100% 🏆

100

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

It's been a while since I've enjoyed an online community on a game, but the random folks I've played Abyssus with really pass the vibe check. Everyone ends up running around like crazy and in between maps someone starts singing and dancing and everyone joins in. It's just so ridiculous, I love it ⚓

100

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Completion 161 this year is Monument Valley 2, just like the first I had never played these games but I absolutely loved this beautiful puzzle game with such a sweet story. This is also backlog completion 30 this year 🗓️

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

The 1.0 update landed for TCG Shop Simulator and this had me hooked earlier this year. So I had to return and I forgot how my game was, I just gave up with shelving the stock, I think THE PILE is far better 📦

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

It's been over a month since my last Sea of Thieves achievement, but we finally got all of the forts of the damned done. Not the hardest or grindyest of achievements, but it can be a pain to complete when you stick a massive target on your head doing the fort 🏴‍☠️

010

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

It's been a hot minute since I posted a Sea of Thieves update. We've had a bit of a break and we've done a few focused bits. We had a fairly successful evening, got what we needed done. Scared off a couple of crews and I popped a red barrel on my pals to top off a good night 💥

100

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Completion 160 this year is the third and final stack of this survivor-esq game. Fun and simple enough, I did enjoy every completion of it, so certainly not a bad one to pick up for a slow afternoon!

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Completion 159 this year is the brilliant RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business. This is an amazing follow up to the original Rogue City. Certainly more action focused rather than investigating, but still a brilliant game!

110

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Dove back into the brine in the wonderful fun Abyssus today. I think I have a favourite blessing now, just because you can effectively freeze enemies in gold and then boop them around the map. It's so satisfying bouncing them on the map!

100

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Completion 158 this year is a cheeky one. Seems like the devs accidentally uploaded this game to the store before it was ready and you could get all achievements in a matter of minutes. I don't mind some cheese if it's going 🧀

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Completion 157 year is another awful Backrooms game, I learnt my lesson after this one and will probably avoid them for a bit. Again it will funny to play with my wife a bit a she got a good kick at me getting jump scared. Other than that this really wasn't worth the money nor the time to play it 🫠

010

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Completion 156 this year is another one of those awful visual novels. So few of these actually feel like normal stories written by humans that interact with other humans. Almost all of these are just creepy stories for creepy men. At least it's quick and you don't have to spend much time with it 🙃

010

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Now that's my 8-pack done! Added my latest addiction, another regular grind, another stack of The Outer Worlds and another Double Fine adventure that the latest TrueAchievements challenge has got me playing. A good excuse to knock another one off the backlog!

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Completion 155 this year is the cute little puzzle game Monument Valley. I've never played these on mobile, so it was a nice surprise to see them on Xbox last year. Beautifully put together puzzle game, not too hard just very satisfying and a sweet little story to boot!

100

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Dove back into Abyssus today and my builds are slowly getting there. I've also found the emotes hilarious, I'm not sure the random guy enjoyed it 😤

100

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Completion 154 this year is a goofy arse horror game in Backrooms. I thought this would be fun for me and my wife to play together and it kinda was for 10 minutes before it just got frustrating. At least she got a laugh out of me jumping up on the sofa at the jump scares.

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I tried Abyssus a few weeks back to see if I liked it. Since I tried it I've been itching to go back and get stuck in. I did today and I just love it. It just scratches my brain in the right way. Like a wild mix of DOOM & Hades. Looking forward to doing crazy stuff with some builds!

100

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

SHE'S ONLY GONE AND DONE IT Thank fuck for that!

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Completion 153 this year is the final stack of this game. I enjoyed my time with it, would I play it three times? No probably not, but I sure did enjoy the gamerscore boost!

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Unfortunately my time with The Medium has hit a rather sour note. I have met the requirements for this achievement 5+ times now and it just won't unlock. I've deleted my cache, fully deleted all saves and reinstalled the game and absolutely nothing makes a difference.

111

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Completion 152 year is the brilliant Halo: Campaign Evolved. Completed 12 years after I finished Anniversary! I absolutely loved my time with this remake and it's one of my favourites this year.

100

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

It's been a while since I did one of these, but how could I resist with a steelbook this cool. I've been playing an awful lot of new games lately, so I thought I should take a dip into the backlog with The Medium.

100

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Completion 151 this year is another cheeky stack of this easy mathsy directional puzzler. Simple and quick completion, made even easier the second time round!

000

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

I wrapped up the story in Resonance tonight and boy what a game. Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The whole series is 5/5 for me, these Devs just don't miss. Also 6/5 for having a "yeet this person in oblivion button" 🦵

110

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Catching up with folks a little bit, I've got my 4-pack done now! One of my big grinds, a couple of new fun games and a revisit to an old favourite for some achievements. Still got the 8-pack to go but there is a lot of the month left.

010

evieleaf.bsky.social @evieleaf.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Spent a little more time exploring this island trying to figure what the heck is going on. The story is absolutely fantastic in Resonance and I can't wait to get to the bottom of everything.
