Don’t get me wrong, it was bad before, but ICE wasn’t performing massively unprecedented raids and detaining indigenous people or questioning birthright citizenship a few weeks ago and now they are. So, by all means, now’s your opportunity to say that people in those detention camps is “worth it”

Yeah. That’s already being smacked down in court. A lot of these executive orders are designed to prompt court challenges, they know they won’t hold up but they think they can get something out of the Supreme Court

I’m unsure what’s happening on the inside. For right now it seems mostly nobody knows if this is a fight worth picking or a test used to sort out potential people who WILL fight later.

Please keep in mind that this first week or two of the Trump presidency was supposed to be a barrage of horrific policies to promote terror and fear. His administration won’t be able to sustain this level of activity. Many of his actions will be tied up in courts for months or years.
