Henry is so beautiful.

Broad shoulders, strong arms, and a soft spot right at the dip of his waist. Miles and miles of utterly flawless skin. Deep blue eyes that pierce Alex's with an intensity Alex hadn't known to expect.

It's like he sees into Alex's soul, or something.

Henry is laid out on a padded bench, hands trapped in leather cuffs above his head and legs forced apart by unforgiving ropes. He's not gone easy on himself. It's practically an all access pass to his most vulnerable parts. If Alex was gonna offer himself to someone the way Henry will tonight, he'd probably have started a lot smaller.

Only one way to honor commitment like that.

"An invitation-only charity polo match this weekend," Henry says over the phone. "It's in..." He pauses, probably referring back to whatever itinerary Shaan has given him. "Greenwich, Connecticut? It's $10,000 a seat, but I can have you added to the list."

The app isn't one Alex has heard of before. He only finds out about it through the comment section of a fairly niche porn site, which is either a big plus or a huge red flag, depending; he's pretty sure he won't find anyone he knows on there, but he's also bound to encounter perverted little freaks.

So really, he'll fit right in.

The design of the app is sleek. Discreet. You could never tell from a quick glance that each entry is filthy as fuck. 'Brat seeks leather daddy.' 'Experienced dom looking for eager pain slut.' 'New sub seeking gentle dom (must top).'

Alex skims that last one with some interest until he gets to the very last line: doms in training need not apply.

Right. Not it, then.

He's still not totally convinced he even wants to do this. Like, in real life. It's an incredible fantasy, sure; being given that much power over someone, getting to make them moan and beg. Scream, if that's what they're into. Alex would be. He's pretty sure he actually would be.

Only one way to find out.

It's less command, more request, but Alex can easily envision it as the former. H's firm tone from moments ago had been so fucking perfect. Definitely something to aspire to. If Alex could become half the dom H is, he'd count himself so lucky.

It's all he can think about as he closes his eyes and lets go, moaning without shame. H is saying his name again and again, his breaths coming out ragged, and in Alex's sick little mind, that's his sub begging ever so prettily for his mercy. Alex probably has them tied up, or pushed down—or both, somehow. He's giving them everything by denying them even a moment of relief as he makes beautiful marks bloom on quivering skin, then kisses it all better. With teeth.

H groans louder than before, then fucking whimpers. It brings Alex right back to the present as he, too, tumbles over the edge. And it's so good. Knowing that H probably just got off to an equally twisted fantasy is kind of everything.

June has apparently zoned in on the shelf of mathlete trophies. Nora sits a little straighter. “Yeah. Mom keeps the big ones downstairs, though.”

“I think it’s correct,” June says. She’s back to staring at the shelf. “Did you actually get a deferral from MIT?”

“Why are you in my room, again?”

“I’m just saying, I don’t get it.”

“What’s there to get?” Nora asks. She grips the edge of her chair so hard, her hands actually hurt. “Probably, they had stronger applications from other geniuses. Or they just don’t like granddad’s politics.”

“Having a family member in office should’ve been a point in your favor.” June smooths down her perfect pencil skirt that doesn’t need smoothing down one bit. Even her hands are pretty. “UT definitely cared that both my parents are in congress.”

“Granddad’s been in office my whole life. You don’t need to tell me how this works.”

June finally meets her eyes again. The way her eyebrows pinch is such a satisfying crack in her facade. “Why do you have to be like this?”

Nora purses her lips. “Why are you in my room?”

“Trust me, I won’t be again.” June strides over to the door, her hair flipping over her shoulder as she looks back at Nora one last time. “Have fun crushing on your math homework all night. I’m sure it’ll kiss you back if you solve it real good.”

Then she leaves.

Nora sighs, letting her head fall back. When did her life get so complicated?

It should be impossible for things to escalate this quickly.

One moment, Shane had been hugging his mom bye, and she'd told him—jokingly!—that he'd better not gamble away his tuition money in Vegas.

And he hadn't. Obviously. A single year at college hasn't changed him that much.

But the very next moment—or at least that's what it'd felt like—Shane had been breaking up a stupid bar fight between two of their own after a brutal loss to UNLV. Thankless job. And in the end it'd only made things worse.

Who knew bail was so expensive?

Shane can't tell his parents. He simply doesn't fuck up like this. Ever.

But Googling 'make much money very quickly' yields depressing results.

Baker, one of the seniors on the team, was the one who'd told Shane about the app. Well, Shane and a few others. Just in passing. "It's all handled through the platform, so clients don't even know your name. And everyone's super vetted, so you're not gonna get, like, axe murdered. If you enjoy sex, you might as well make a few bucks from it, right? Like half my English seminar's done it once or twice."

Shane had been in dire need of more than a few bucks, though.

"But you can make much more if you'll take it up the ass," Baker had added, grinning like he'd just told a good joke, and Shane—

Shane is here, in the arms of a man whose dick he just really enjoyed putting in his mouth, which he's maybe having a mild to moderate crisis about—until the man takes hold of Shane's chin in a way that pushes things way past 'moderate.' Fuck.
