Thought we did well tonight. Lack of backup for Barry worries me, he’s clearly shattered after 70 mins.

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Still buzzing after yesterday. Both those goals are why we love football so much - just raw emotion when they go in!! The fact they happen so rarely is what makes them so good!!

Braiden Graham. What can you tell me about him? That’s a lot of youth goals…

There haven’t been that many players over the years who make you sit up every time they get the ball. Kanchelskis, Deulofeu, Rodrigues - Nydiaye. Just always sad when they go.

Yesterday, I like most my timeline was questioning decision makers at Everton. 24 hours later If they opened a bidding war for outgoing, sign a new striker, then I’ll be proved wrong.

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Gutted. I wouldn’t have Richy back at all. He’s not a winger, not a striker, not a 10. He’s struggled at Spurs as not had a role. Oh and he’s injury prone.

Wow. Who needs Haaland when we have Barry…

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

I’m a Moyes fan. He’s got us solid, organised and confident for a better future. However, his failure to take the league cup seriously will always annoy me. It’s the best and probably only chance of silverware we have. Fingers crossed he proves me wrong tonight.

Great to see reflection of the boss at Athletic Club Bilbao museum today. Such a legend.

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

It’s all feeling a bit underwhelming this pre-season. I hate a season where our ambition is 13th place. 🥱

010

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Wonder why we would buy Tyrique George. He looked a long way off. Frankly he didn’t even look like he wanted to be there…?

100

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

So Liam Delap. Thoughts? I’m in. (And yes this follows is a deleted post after asking about Rory Delap!!)

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

Some how even when we have the best season in ages we still feel like we’re getting worse. Everton that.

110

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

Gutted with the result. But they kept going, never gave up and feel robbed there.

020

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 02/02/2026

Didn’t we sign Kevin Campbell in January window? Even if not true, still need someone like him with genuine pedigree rescued from being unhappy in a European league!

100

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 02/02/2026

Slightly concerning we can’t sign anyone better than Beto and McNeil who have interest and could bring in some cash.

000

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 26/01/2026

Good recovery from awful first half… so good to have some players back. Disappointed for Patterson - really want him to take that position and own it. But great to see Barry enjoying the game.

000

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 17/01/2026

Given American products are so entwined with our culture it’s going to be tricky. But, I’m going to do the best I can to remove 10-25% of my spend from American businesses. We may be just a small country, but we’re a great one too…

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 12/01/2026

Ben White at right back sounds good to me.

010

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 10/01/2026

Those penalties. I’m still raging. Worst penalty shootout I’ve ever seen by any team, ever.

140

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 06/12/2025

Made up for Barry. He’s been working his socks off for weeks.

040

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 24/11/2025

That is absolutely no way a red card. That was ridiculous.

010

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 03/11/2025

That was tough watch second half. We were brilliant first 20. I’m going to stick with positives.

050

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 05/10/2025

What a turnaround in second half. Every player stepped up after break. 👏👏

020

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 24/09/2025

Disappointed for Alcaraz yesterday, there’s a good player there who’s been nudged out by Grealish. Sadly really didn’t grab the chance.

220

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 23/09/2025

Played like a group of individuals - no team there yet at all. Today should have been first team to work on it, not prove another bunch of individuals aren’t good enough.

000

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 27/08/2025

Imagine your manager too afraid to watch the shoot-out. Hardly leading from the front by Ruben Amorim. Well done Grimsby, awesome result that.

082

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 25/08/2025

What a week of contrasts - that lacklustre away loss to Leeds then WOW what a way to start new life at new ground. Ndiaye, Grealish and Alcaraz look 3 attacking threats to rival anyone this season.

120

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 22/08/2025

Dibling looks a shocking signing. Southampton are desperate for cash and we’ve fallen for a ridiculous mark-up.

700

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 18/08/2025

That’s was proper poor. Poor shape, too many sub-standard performances and sloppy mistakes that led to chances. Moyes will sort them out.

110

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 10/07/2025

Barry sounds a brilliant signing. Clearly got a slightly clumsy touch and won’t be clinical but someone big, physical and fast who will make things happen and hopefully create space for others. Excited!

130

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 26/06/2025

Why would Villarreal sell Thierno Barry to us?

300

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 26/06/2025

It’s sad to see all the big guns fighting over Viktor Gyokeres. We wanted him but unwilling to pay £15m to Coventry 2-3 years ago. To think of the rubbish we bought instead…

230

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 08/06/2025

The expression ‘never meet your heroes’ certainly applies to reading the Big Dunc autobiography. Anyone else have a view on it?

000

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 01/03/2025

Really hope new ground doesn’t have those horrific double LED boards like at Man City. Just horrible.

010

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 12/02/2025

Still buzzing. What a way to finish the Merseyside derby at Goodison.

000

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 19/01/2025

Superb. Will take that all day long. 3 vital points.

030

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 19/01/2025

I’ve loved watching Spurs this season, win or lose they provide entertainment. Gutted when Big Ange gets the sack for usual insipid European coach.

000

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 19/01/2025

This is clearly a freak game with Spurs kamikaze football. But Everton committed, full of positivity and giving the crowd something finally to get behind.

010

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 15/01/2025

Gutted with that. I thought energy and effort was there, just lacking talent. Raging that DCL finally got the chance he’s been begging for and he fluffed it.

130

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 11/01/2025

Interesting to hear reports that Dyche basically resigned rather than being sacked. Whilst I hated his football style, he was given so little in terms of players to improve performance.

130

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 10/01/2025

I’m okay with Moyes. We need someone to carry us home this year, he’s defensively sound and will do more with attacking options.

060

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 10/01/2025

I liked the tempo of the team yesterday, looked faster and more positive. Great to get some Baines & Coleman passion - everything missing in recent weeks from club, manager, players and frankly fans.

110

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 26/12/2024

Great result again. These points have been impressive in December - no one saw them coming.

020

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 16/12/2024

We’d be doing Dyche a favour by sacking him now. He could walk into Southampton or Wolves and take his anti-football tactics with him.

010

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

Clearly hope I’m wrong but don’t see how you can give Arsenal 80% possession with aim to get a point at emirates.

110

Everton Gecko @evertongecko.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

Hate to say it, but Arsenal away always just fills me with dread. We’ve been pumped there more than anywhere I can remember.
