My leg is really bad today but I've accepted that I don't have the skills to build myself a medieval rack to stretch myself on. So instead I taped a couple of 1.5 litre bottles filled with water to my bad leg and stood on my good leg on the stairs with my bad leg hanging down.

a 10cm folding knife. the hilt is a pink enamel high heeled boot with a peace symbol stamped on it. The blade has "love peace friendship" engraved on it in the twee-est shittest font, with hearts and flowers and squiggles around the letters.

The same tree, somewhat shorter and almost completely bare since it was just before spring. There's a couple of small sections of the fungus low down on the trunk, maybe a tenth of the amount of fungus on the tree in the photo taken today.

Seriously though, at this point it's basically a fungus that has a tree infestation.

I wasn't going to get any Halloween decorations this year but look what they had in the coffee shop.

Okay, obviously I wouldn't recommend this, but since I couldn't find my rubber tipped tweezers I wrapped the pincer of a regular pair of tweezers with kinesiology tape and it has kinda worked!

I found some jacquard fabric in these really lovely autumn colours and it was being sold off super cheap so me and mum are planning on making a couple of scarves out of it. Mum wants fairly regular stripes but I'm thinking of trying something a bit more complicated...

Both team members have a special interest in archaeology. The aliens look like this.

The two humanoid aliens side by side in almost identical poses. They both have bald heads with ridges that run from front to back and act as a kind of continuation of the brow bone off to the side of the eyes. The Star Trek alien has an extra central ridge while the stargate alien has kind of the inverse of a ridge there. they both have a bit around their nose and mouth that protrudes out to where the tip of the nose would have been so that their prosthetics hide the nose entirely and they each have two vertical nostril slits there instead

Both have clothes in earthy colours although the star trek alien's clothes look more typically sewn and the star gate alien's clothes look more like just the pelts of animals and things haphazardly drapes.
