I am here now with my migraine hangover. Here's hoping caffeine scares it away and it doesn't roll back around. Dad is currently sleeping. No idea what the prognosis is or rhe game plan as people, rightfully, went home.

Today I went to my dad's infusion appointment where he didn't get infusion because he has two infections and is on two antibiotics for 14 days. He signed a DNR. I drove home and went to work where I tried working, but even my nice coworkers did not want to touch conversation with a 10 foot pole.

My husband and I have been planning to get a new cat for our 5 year anniversary for a couple months. We usually go on vacation, but with my dad and the stuff with my family, it's impossible to get away even for a day. It makes it the perfect time for a new animal!

There's a thing going around here about showing what you had for posters as a kid. I wasn't allowed posters until I moved out as a grown adult and paid for my own bedroom. There were a lot of things like that for me growing up. Probably says a lot of about me.

It was a long day and a lot of stuff happened I don't really know what to do with. I went to my parents' after being really sick with a cold all week. I got told on my way there by a lovely lady that I should die in a car accident for driving so recklessly. (Hint: I was not)

I really do like Persona 3. I also enjoy Persona 4 Golden and I am looking forward to the remake. Maybe I need to play the original for P3 because I have only played the Reload? But, I really love Persona 5.

I picked up Trails in the Sky Chapter 1 and why did know one tell me the battle system is so complicated? I have played many many JRPGs and I thought, "Hey. No problem. We always figure it out. We'll figure it out."

I think I need to talk to my therapist about my people pleasing and my lack of ability to take up zero space. These two things are creating my social anxiety. I am so worried about making other people sad/depressed because my life is turmoil. In turn, I am always lonely/sad.

My father who has pancreatic cancer told me that I look tired today. He's not wrong. I am exhausted. I built a cabinet to hide Lenny's litter box yesterday and literally nothing else. I slept okay. Still working 9 hours today to pay the bills though. Being chronically ill sucks.

Made some cottage pie with extra gravy for my dad and mum. My dad has to eat mostly not solid things so this mushy version was really good for him. Now I am making a beef stew with mashed taters for dinner. Leftovers will go to the widowed aunt so she doesn't have to worry about dinner.

Well, my uncle (on my husband's side) who also had pancreatic cancer passed today. I just saw him a month ago and he was doing so well. He was looking forward to the drug that the FDA just approved. I am heart broken.

It's hard to explain to normals how much time my chronic illness takes up. Today I am up to 4 hours. My chronic illness has used up 4 hours today. For an appointment, for research on meds, for phone calls, for all the time I have spent dealing with the symptoms. It's 2:20PM.

Let me tell a positive story about my dad after all these downer posts. My dad was my first favorite person. As some of you might know and maybe some don't, I was a ward of the state growing up. My parents are not my bio parents. My mother is technically my aunt and my dad is my married in uncle.
