Zelda games are keys while Metroidvanias are boots. Some Zelda games have a few boots & some Metroidvanias have a few keys. But even though there are Zelda games without boots, Metroidvanias with boots but no keys are relatively rare despite the fact Metroid only has boots

Another thing about the Castlevania demo is the bats don't feel like Castlevania bats at all. In the other games they bob up & down while moving horizontally but in Belmont's Curse they act like the flying guys in Metroid Samus Returns/Dread where they fly around then zoom at you

One complaint about the Castlevania Belmont's Curse demo that's funny is it feeling like a modern Metroidvania. Yeah? The Igavanias felt that way because the Super Metroid style was the popular style at the time. Bloodstained feels that way because it's emulating that style

Going back to Sound Novel Tsukuru & Higurashi, turns out that the reason Mion has fat titties in Higurashi is because he used it as a way to prototype sprites & the one he used as a placeholder for her just happened to be busty lol

　僕はセガサターン用のキーボードを持っていなかったので、1文字1文字を十字ボタンで探して入力していましたが、今思うと狂気の沙汰ですね（笑）。しかも苦労してある程度作ったデータが消えちゃったんですよ。それで最後まで作ることはなかったのですが、消えてしまったからこそ、逆に印象的な出来事として強く頭の中に残り続けたんでしょうね。その後、とある劇団が賞金10万円で脚本を募集していたので、舞台脚本として『雛見沢停留所』を完成させて応募しましたが、採用されませんでした。

　そして同人界にTYPE-MOONさんの『月姫』が登場します。まず弟がハマって、「『月姫』を動かしているNScripterは思ったより扱いやすいから、これなら僕たちでもゲームが作れそうだよ」と言い出して。それで「『雛見沢停留所』は結局舞台化されなかったし、これをもう一度ノベルゲームとしてちゃんと作り直したらおもしろいかもしれないな」と思って弟と作り始めたわけです。振り返ると『雫』や『痕』などを教えてくれたのも弟だし、僕がこの道に進んだのは弟のせいですね（笑）。

At the time, ASCII (now Kadokawa Games) released a game called "Sound Novel Maker 2" for the Sega Saturn, and I wrote a work that was very similar to "Hinamizawa Bus Stop" (*) .

* This work was written by Ryukishi07 as a stage script and is the basis for "Higurashi". A comic book version titled "Hinamizawa Bus Stop ~Higurashi When They Cry Original~" is currently on sale from Square Enix.

　I didn't have a keyboard for the Sega Saturn, so I was typing each character by searching for it with the directional buttons, which now seems like sheer madness (laughs). And to make matters worse, all the data I had painstakingly created got erased. So I never got to finish it, but perhaps because it was erased, it remained a vivid and memorable experience in my mind. Later, a theater company was offering a 100,000 yen prize for a script, so I completed "Hinamizawa Bus Stop" as a stage script and submitted it, but it wasn't accepted.

　Then TYPE-MOON's "Tsukihime" appeared in the doujin world. First, my younger brother got hooked and said, "NScripter, which powers 'Tsukihime,' is easier to use than I thought, so maybe we could make a game with it." So I thought, "Hinamizawa Bus Stop" never got made into a stage play, so it might be interesting to properly remake it as a visual novel," and that's how my brother and I started making it. Looking back, it was my brother who introduced me to "Shizuku" and "Kizuato," so I guess it's my brother's fault that I went down this path (laughs).

Found out there's Sound Novel Tsukuru in 1996 for SFC & Sound Novel Tsukuru 2 in 1997 for PS1/Saturn & 2 even has an ADV mode & character sprites (both have 60+ songs to use too) that's cool as hell (also you could use Ongaku Tsukuru Kanadeeru to make custom music for both)

Most of the monsters in Silent Hill 1 are based on Alessa's fears so I like how the nurses & doctors are literally just normal people who've unfortunately been turned into monsters due to a parasite, them basically being zombies is really unique (also bring back doctor monsters)
