Very true. I saw an old vox pop on a documentary about the Yorkshire Ripper years ago. They'd asked an older woman about the victims (largely sex workers). She said something that will stay with me forever; "A bad man is just a bad man, but a bad woman will always be a very bloody bad woman indeed"

In terms of a totality description, I'm expecting my epitaph to be 'cat botherer'. There's not much else to say really.

Maternal Instinct on Netflix. I'd say it's unbelievable but frankly, there are a half a dozen people I've known in my life who I'd not be surprised to find they did this too. Two, I'd actively expect would do it.

More than anything, my big take away from Obsession is the lack of responsibility in being in a relationship. At the start, he's aghast that his cat is dead, having consumed medication, that was in a childproof tub, asking how the cat had accessed it. NO OPPOSABLE THUMBS. Plant, pet, person.

This drives me nuts. Years ago, the French banned noisesome fireworks, because of their impact on animals. It speaks plenty to the minds of those who have such a thirst for bangs and flashes. We have the silent option, and now we have drone displays too. I hope you all get some rest and calm. x

Initially this sounds likely but, on further thought, he was actively looking for a musician and it was a busy time in that area. I think he'd have found someone else. Very probably with only an ounce of Marr's talent though. Perhaps a b-list indie band, which would still be popular of course.
