In my nearly 10 years in Seattle, this is the first time I’m seeing a mayor I voted for get sworn into office. Between her and Zohran, I finally am finding some hope that public service in the US can be renewed. I’m a proud public servant and, I want all of my neighbors to see what gov’t can be.

Spent 2 min on DOGE’s “Meet the U.S. Government” data visualization and already found an error. Look at this screen grab from the FBI data. They are using avg. for everything which is probably a bad idea but more importantly, the salary data label doesn’t match the chart! So so sloppy. 😒
