Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 27/05/2025Lil video timelapse of the Dan Ketch painting I did. I try to build the values in an underpainting so I roughly know where everything is going to sit before adding details and colors. 010 1
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 09/05/2025Dan Ketch Ghost Rider, on Procreate. Was fun to paint this sucker. I’ll post the timelapse soon. Lemme know if you want me to break down how I made this as well! 021 2
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 07/03/2025And here’s a lil timelapse of the process of painting this. I love Procreate! It’s helping me practice my in-head visualization. It’s not as concretely valuable as using references (please do!) but I love the experience of rendering the surfaces in my head to really comprehend the lighting. 010 1
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 07/03/2025Jerry’s done! Living proof that you don’t have to be a miserable fan all your life. Surround yourself with good kind people y’all. ✌🏻 Big thanks to @evandorkin.bsky.social for all the Eltingville stories and giving one of them a happy ending. 071 7
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 06/03/2025Did more work fleshing out the values and surfaces on that Jerry painting! 030 3
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 27/02/2025Working on an underpainting of Jerry from Evan Dorkin’s Eltingville Club as a more adjusted adult. 050 5
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 25/02/2025DICTATOR DONE Street Fighter’s Karin Kanzuki is a bad motherfucker who don’t take no shit, and will caddy laugh in your face. 💅💅 My favorite main because that’s aspirational. Find your inner bad bitch and rise above these goons. #streetfighter 141 4
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 21/02/2025A neat lil timelapse of my Kenpachi Zaraki painting. The track used is “Creeping Shadows” by the incredible Shiro Sagisu. Stay creative! 010 1
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 21/02/2025Aaaaand done! There’s a lot I learned while making this, and I look forward to the next painting! 030 3
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 20/02/2025More development over the underpainting! I’m loving how this is coming out. Painting on a screen surfaces makes a huge difference painting confidently. Almost makes me wonder how I worked all this time without it. 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Feel free to ask any questions about my process so far! 010 1
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 20/02/2025Fiddling around with Procreate and painting Kenpachi Zaraki, my favorite Soul Society Captain in Bleach. Dude was straight to the point and dodged the monologue. 030 3
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 14/02/2025Fun lil snake piece I did a coupla years ago. I start all my sketchbook works with ink directly, but with this one I started with the color marker. It was a fun exercise to visualize the bends and overlaps of the serpent before rooting them in with ink. 000 0
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 13/02/2025Self portrait I did waaaaaaay back. Started with ink on paper and colored digitally. It was fun trying to replicate those old comic weird machine shapes. 020 2
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 12/02/2025Hello new followers! I’m shocked by the quickness, but thankful you’re here to see my work. This is HERMIT, my favorite painting. 030 3
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 12/02/2025Randomly got the urge to listen to Skee-Lo while I was out drawing, made a silly brushpen sketch about it. 000 0
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 03/02/2025Halt and Ketch Fire Neat lil 90s Ghost Rider piece I put together while out and about. Javier Saltares and Mark Texeira lit a fire under me with their incredible pencil and inking that felt both raw and realistic. 010 1
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 25/01/2025A Count Orlock painting I’m working on from memory! Good exercise in rendering lighting around form and shape. Weirdly, light is sort of like liquid with how it groups on things. 020 2
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 17/01/2025An artist rarer than a blue rose. Rest in Peace, David Lynch. Join the grand cosmic human fabric of dreamers. The ripples through art will shake oceans. 000 0
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 24/12/2024Working on a Procreate painting study of Al Pacino in Dog Day Afternoon. I’m trying to focus on doing creative stuff for at least thirty minutes a day! 010 1
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 03/12/2024ATOMIC KISS, my lil tribute to Watchmen and the incredible work of the whole creative team. Seems to also be a consistently enjoyed sticker of mine as well? 😅 If you bought one and you’re seeing this, thank you for giving a nice tiny surprise month-to-month. Can’t live on it, but your heart is free. 000 0
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 03/12/2024Might as well post some of my favorites here over the years! This is a playmat that I painted for myself so I could use something with art more on the fantasy femme side! I painted this sucker using Clip Studio Paint. #mtg #artwork #playmat 000 0
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 29/11/2024Finally finished watching Crashing all the way through after starting season one when it aired and loved it. It’s such a brutally honest but compassionate slice of life show. It felt good to see somebody dealing with being a late bloomer like I did. 😅 000 0
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 28/11/2024Marvel VS Capcom fanart of ole webhead and winghead I did earlier this year! I like when Spider-Man and Morrigan’s chemistry is more comedic than anything. 000 0
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 13/11/2024Starscourge Radahn, from memory anyway. 😅 It’s been fun finding projects that justify expanding my copics, and the gold on this one did the job. #eldenring #sketchbook 000 0
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 11/11/2024Welcome to the better site! Here’s a shot in progress of a color piece I worked on. 000 0
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 25/10/2024Once Bitten, a #vampire sketchbook piece I made! I was feelin’ it, so I made something more subtly lewd to vent it out lol. When it comes to my drawing, I’m about as time as a churchmouse. 😂 000 0
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 25/10/2024A silly lil drawing I did while I was out based on The Lighthouse. I love that silly movie to pieces. 000 0
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 24/10/2024A timelapse of the Strider Hiryu redraw I did! I tried my hardest to practice “starting big” so the details don’t lock me into a less dynamic composition. 053 5
Evan OOZE @evanooze.bsky.social · 24/10/2024The difference six years of drawing makes! I’m so proud of my progress, and thankful for all my peers who have pushed me to stay creative! 022 2
